  our roof was leaking and shingles were coming off so patching wasnt gonna work anymore. northrise came out and said full replacement was the move. when i looked at roofers around deerfield their quote made sense for a whole new roof. crew stripped the old one and had the new roof on in a couple days. no more leaks even in the heavy rain we got after. glad we replaced the whole thing instead of patching!

  Quote to install was pretty painless. Asked a bunch of questions before signing and got straight answers not a sales pitch. Install day they moved fast and kept the yard clean. PM walked the roof with me after and went over what was done. Roof looks sharp

  NorthRise handled our full roof replacement and I'm still kind of surprised at how different the house looks. We picked a darker shingle this time and honestly it works so much better with the rest of the exterior. But what I really notice every time I come home is how flat and uniform everything sits. Our old roof had this annoying waviness in a couple spots near the garage side - one of those things that wasn't a real problem but it drove me nuts pulling into the driveway every day. Completely gone now. Everything lays perfectly smooth and the ridge cap gives the whole roofline a much cleaner edge. I did go around and look at the work around the vents and exhaust pipes because that's where our last roof always looked sloppy, and everything is tight. No weird gaps or messy sealant anywhere. We've already been through a few storms with some decent wind and nothing's moved, so that part feels solid too.

After a windy night we check five places before anything else, and none of them is the middle of the roof. Wind lifts rather than presses. The pressure drop is sharpest at corners, along rake edges, over the ridge caps and across the two lowest courses above the gutter. The open field of a slope, which accounts for most of the area, takes comparatively little. Two local details raise the exposure here. Split-level rooflines put ridges and edges at two different heights, each with its own set of corners. And on blocks where mature trees came out during rebuilding, slopes sheltered for fifty years are not sheltered now.
