  Hi Emily, Sorry for the confusion our estimator may have caused. I just want to remind you that he did come out to the property within 48 hours and try to help you at no charge to you. He was hoping the city could put you in contact with an engineer/contractor that would be better suited for this project. In showing them pictures he felt they would better understand the situation and possibly be able to assist you. With that said we are sorry for the time we may have wasted we know your time is valuable and please give us a call if we can help you with any future roofing projects.

  Hi Rosemary, we are sorry to hear about your experience. We do recall this instance and would like to reiterate that the 50 year warranty is through the manufacturer which covers the material. Northern California Roofing is an installer which is why we can only warranty our workmanship. Our estimator that we sent out to try and help in anyway possible was directed by you to not step foot on the roof, which makes it near impossible to identify the issue. Also, we were told by you that you have had a handyman come out throughout the years to clean out gutters and loose debris which could cause issues for the lightweight tile roof. We understand your frustrations but ultimately Northern California Roofing can not warranty the material, we can only warranty how it is installed. As always we can do our best to help you reach out to the manufacturer and see if your yearly maintenance will comply with their material warranty. It appears that our workmanship on the project is not the issue as it has been 26 years but again we would like to help in and way possible.

  I have a leak in my roof and it's still under warranty and I've been ignored every day since the storm. I can understand if they are busy, but they should at least get back to me with an idea when they can do something about it

  We appreciate you sharing your feedback with us, We're disappointed to hear about your experience with us. We did try contacting you the following day. We were able to get a hold of you and inspect the leak within the same week, and our findings showed that the leak was not related to the work we completed. The leak was coming from the duct work attached to the HVAC unit. To provide you with a solution, we managed to give you a quick fix until an HVAC company could come out and properly fix the leak. We hope that our efforts in addressing your concerns have been of help. We do hope you give us an opportunity in the future to provide you with the quality service we are accustomed to sharing.

  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They will stop returning calls, they do shoddy work, they do not uphold their contractual obligations, and will initiate a lien process rather than having a dialog around fixing these issues. This company is super shady and dishonest. Use anyone else, literally, anyone else. They installed our roof last fall. The crew that installed it did so in 1.5 days (full tear down and installation). We were surprised by the speed and a little alarmed. We were told in our sales pitch that the crew would consult with us and include us in the process. This crew didn't do that, they didn't even speak English, so attempting to engage them and be part of the process was fruitless. They just slapped up the roof and moved on. Immediately we noticed problems with the roof. They used the wrong size nails on our eves and destroyed them. The roof looked like garbage with tiles sticking up oddly in places. Items that were in the contract like new step shingles, new flashing on the eves, etc, were not completed. Also, though the contract stated that we would be charged $60/hr for dry rot repair we were charged $400/hr. And that is after we complained over the initial cost they tried to put in front of us which was almost twice that! And then it rained... 3 leaks! To Nor Cal's credit they came out and fixed those leaks but that's the only credit I will give them. And now I know the only reason they hopped to fixing those flaws was due to the liability they would have incurred had they not fixed them. They are motivated only through self preservation and not through anything resembling integrity. Though our sales person agreed that the roof was substandard, and though he told us they would fix these cosmetic issues, they never did. They stopped returning our calls. They fired our sales rep, the only ally we had. They never took steps needed to conclude our business, including sending out an inspector. We had a PACE loan, which expired. Then, after months of

  Northern California Roofing Company installed our roof about 4 years ago. We recently had a bird poking failing in our roof corner. We thought he was building a nest. But he made a small hole and was storing acorns there!!! Filled a bucket half full!!

  I highly recommend Northern California Roofing, especially Andy Adams. My father-in-law had an ongoing roof leak, and after having three different roofing companies inspect the problem, they all told him he needed a complete new roof. Before making such a major investment, he contacted Northern California Roofing for another opinion. Andy came out, thoroughly inspected the roof, and quickly identified the real issue that the other companies had missed. Instead of needing a new roof, the problem was simply a vent near the top of the house that needed to be properly repaired and sealed. Andy returned to ensure the repair was completed correctly and conducted a detailed inspection to make sure all roof vents were properly sealed. Andy was professional, knowledgeable, honest, and focused on finding the actual solution rather than selling an unnecessary roof replacement. His expertise saved my father-in-law thousands of dollars and gave us peace of mind knowing the issue was fixed correctly. If you’re having any roofing issues, Northern California Roofing should be your first call. If you want an honest assessment and a proper fix, ask for Andy Adams.

  John Galiotto with Northern California Roofing was amazing. He walked me through the process of getting a new roof. From picking the materials to warranty to financing. He made me feel at ease with the whole process. What really stood out to me was the communication throughout it all.   It was well over a decade ago, I needed to have two missing ridge caps & an end cap replaced on a multi-level home and went with Northern California Roofing to do the service. This was during the summer months and there was no problems with leaking. I don't remember the exact cost but it seemed considerably high for what was required. This time around things were different. All tiles were intact, it was rainy and I had a ceiling leak. John Galiotto was sent out to explain reasons a leak would occur and to discuss my options. He arrived with pictures of roof jobs similar to mine and thoroughly explained what it entailed. I could address the immediate problem area only, which would still leave me with 3 more identical potential leak incidents later down the road. In light of the previous experience, coupled with time & inflation, I was prepared to sell some vital organs to afford the fix. I asked for a ballpark figure do all four zones and it was significantly less than imagined. John was extremely cordial & comprehensive throughout keeping informed every step along the way. Thank you also his team of Tyler Fullerton & David Hernandez for their professionalism with invoicing and the pre-, present & post job photos which was entirely unexpected.

  Our service tech TYLER was a great help and gave us the information we needed…and took care of our issue in minutes! Note: we called Citadel customer service 3 different times and were given different information each time which confused us. More training may be in need there.

  Andy Adams and team did a great job of the roof installation. While they took a while to get to my project because of their pipeline, we were willing to wait because we found Andy to be very up-front, knowledgeable and easy to deal with. Andy was also very helpful in recommending adjacent service providers (painting, sheetrock, electrical). Would highly recommend Norcal Roofing.
