  I have tried to activate my warranty it’s now two years and still nobody is responding I have even gone to the company and now the doors are closed no new forwarding address Not happy

  This company will take your money and not stand behind their work and refuse to honour their warranty. Save yourself grief and money and go somewhere else. We have experienced the same lack of professionalism that the other reveiewers have. We did an extensive reno and addition and hired New Steel Roofers to install a new roof about 3 years ago. We had water leaking in the house and tracked it to an attic where we found a large icicle melting and leaves and debris and multiple light points penetrating the attic - not just from the vents. Per the warranty we reported it immediately and sent photos. We spent the following 3 months chasing them down trying to get them to honour their warranty. The only time they responded was when I reported them to the Consumer Protection Agency. We got a hold of one of the owners who was rude, aggressive and insulting when we finally managed to explain the problem and that we needed them to honour the warranty. He went as far as suggesting we call someone else to fix the issue and complained that the company was undergoing some ownership issues. Finally they stopped replying at all - but actually called me once when I put in a request from a different phone number for an estimate on a new roof. From that point on it was complete silence. How they are still allowed to operate and take new business is beyond me. They are unreliable and unscrupulous and are a stain on the roofing profession.

  THIS IS THE WOREST RIPOFF COMPANY. I originally left a great review for new steel roofs but 2 years later our attic is full of mould due to NO VENTING. There is not one vent on the roof. It cost us 4000 thousand dollars to have the mould professionaly removed. I have called the company 5 times without even a call back. Now I need to hire a company to fix their shaddy work. Do yourselves a favor and DON'T waste your money on this corrupt company. TRUST ME, IT'S TWO BROTHERS AND THEY ARE THIEFS STEALING YOUR MONEY

  Do not deal with them. They don't answer calls or emails or fix shoddy work. We have to find another contractor to fix the horrible work they did.

  We were pleased with the new steel roof and had them do another building. I left messages 5 times regarding a leak and no one returned my calls except for the one where I asked for an estimate on a new roof using a different name and phone number. I did have more work for them but I expect common decency.

  I hired this company to install a metal roof on my house and I now regret the decision. First, the installation was not done properly because there is no attic venting. I am now forced to hire a different roofing company to install venting. Second, there is a small leak which needs repair. Third, this company is totally unresponsive. I have left numerous telephone messages on their voicemail, and emailed them, but no one has got back to me. That is why I am now being forced to hire a different roofing company to fix the problems. As far as I am concerned the warranty is useless. Once this company has your money no one will return your calls. Stay away. My experience was not a happy one.

  Well things started off well, and the sales man seemed helpful things feel apart fast when I informed them the roof was still leaking. They refuse to answer the phone, email or text messages to address the issue. I would highly recommend seeking a different company. Very disappointed with this place. FIND ANOTHER COMPANY !!

  Expect to have issues with your roof after install but don't expect them to be addressed by the installer. Another scam business keep telling how they care about customers until got paid and disappear.

  After 4 years replace the steel roof, the roof and garage start to leaking, it's the worst service I ever get, no respond to the phone and email, no honor to the warranty, not recommend, save your money stay away from this company.

  A friend used them n it was installed poorly which resulted a leak in their kitchen. Numerous appeals resulted in being ignored to fix the damage done by the leak in my kitchen ceiling . The roof itself was corrected n does not leak anymore. This company should also fix the big whole in their ceiling.

  Won't Honor Warranty, Roof Leaks I am incredibly disappointed with this company. You would think after paying $14,000 for a new steel roof, it wouldn't leak. Water started coming in causing damage to our ceiling, but when I contacted them I received the run around, either not being contacted back or telling me to be patient (this started six weeks ago). No one even came to look at the issue, despite the 15 year workmanship warranty. I've opened a case with the Better Business Bureau and will be following up to ensure they pay for all of the damage this leak as caused.

  Terrible experience dealing with this company. Poor communication skills starting from the receptionist leading to management. I have been calling them since March and it is now August, they have been telling me my materials are on order 5 months ago! Not a phone call to give me an update and no return phone calls after leaving a very descriptive message. Now i have animals in my home that require me to spend an excess amount of extra money to safely trap and release them. Please save your time and use a company that will honour their warranty policies and be professional about it. The manager Chris Bruce will not pick up the phone nor return calls if he does call back it is very unprofessional with the way he speaks basically insinuating that its not his problem anymore. Please save your time and money and use a reputable company that professional and not stingy like this company.

  I hired NSR to install a steel roof on my house in March 2020. I was on the fence between 2 & 3 stars. Bottom line: I would NOT do business with them again hence 2 stars. I decided on long steel panels with unexposed fasteners because of the low pitch of my roof. However, this was misleading as several dozen exposed fasteners were used along the edges of my roof and at some joints. I also expected single long steel panels from the edge of my roof to the peak. However, two panels were required, one overlapping the other, joined with fasteners and sealant along the middle of the roof. There are rubber washers underneath all these fasteners to prevent leaks. The fasteners were overtorqued so that the rubber squeezed out, exposing them to sunlight, which will reduce their lifespan (spot for leaking & corrosion). I also have been hearing "popping" noises throughout the day. I suspect temperature changes cause the steel panels to expand and contract. Since the panels are fixed onto the roof, they are not allowed to move and rub up against each other or the fasteners. Since I have vaulted ceilings and no attic, the sound transmits into my house. Also, caulking and gaskets used to seal the panels to the roof vents have started to separate/tear. NSR have yet to come in to do a service call. The sad thing is that a simple Internet search show solutions for thermal expansion, unexposed fasteners, installing long steel panels, and the importance of properly torquing the fasteners. NSR was very friendly and communicative - until they received final payment. I do not expect for them to honour any warranties.

  We gave 2* because we like the product and the installation. We received a call that they were able to install the roof a month earlier than expected. First day, material drop off only. The next day showed up at 1030am til 4, next day, 8 til 130pm, next day no show. 5 days later, shows up for 2 full days. Then Friday arrives and the roof is finished all except the ridge vent. 3 days later shows up to complete a 1 1/2 hour job that could have been completed on the Friday. Lead worker, kept dropping his tool belt on our flagstone along with the steel brackets chipping the stone. Careless with ladders banging landscape lights on the fence. Marked the concrete driveway with saw marks from cutting the steel sections, thankfully after getting it resealed, those marks weren't as visible. The worst thing was i was sitting in the backyard, when a screw had fallen in our pool and the worker said nothing to us. It was found when vacuuming and it could have been a costly error. No compensation offered for the experience we endured. The product is very nice and the installation was done well, however the lead worker was one of the least personable people we have ever met.

  They sent a 2 man crew to roof a 1700sq foot house, except the day when there was only 1 guy, smallest roofing crew I've ever seen. Did not have all materials available to finish the job (Snow guards on back order) They also didnt volunteer this information. They asked for payment before admitting they didnt have the items to finish the job which makes me wonder if they ever intended of doing it had I not asked about it. Slow to respond to concerns and questions, they seem to avoid responding to emails. I had an email that didnt get responded to for weeks, and I have some that still never recieved a written response. I selected this company based off of the 5 star reviews. Based on my experience I am doubtful that some of these are real. I will say that the installers were very friendly and the final product looks good. My overall impression of this entire experience is... I hope this roof lasts as long as they claim because I wouldnt want to have to do this again. 2 stars because the roof looks great. -3 because I feel that they tried to rip me off. I cant say for sure that's the case but had they intended to install the snow guards it stands to reason they would have mentioned this prior to packing everything up and asking for the money.. not after. Also they kept setting deadlines for payment but then the roof was not done by the date, that happened twice. It felt they were more concerned with getting their money than finishing the job. Dont blame them but still. If your not comfortable completing a job with a 1k deposit then dont ask for it, ask for enough that your not always worried about being paid. Its stressful for you and its stressful for your clients. Also the day before a holiday when I was having family over they left their ladder up and shingles nails and sharp metal all over the lawn which we had to pick up. They also piled their supplies on the lawn so now theres a big dead patch thatll take who knows how long to recover. The whole thing just wasnt
