  My experience with them is not good. They were helpful at just the beginning, but I am still waiting to hear a call back since last December 2023. No one calls you back, gives answers, or answers to emails. When you do get a call back, apparently the questions you do have cannot be answered by them because supposedly they do not deal with those inquiries. They did a great job at installing the solar panels, but when you have questions, no one will return your calls. I have left emails and voicemails regarding my concerns and no one has returned my calls or responded to my emails. In December it will be a year and I am still waiting.

  One star, only because a zero is not an option. Installation and completion of new solar panels was problematic due to not utilizing mounting hardware per approved plans. All this was after a complete reroof. Z brackets were utilized instead of what was on the plans. Concrete roof tiles were not notched to accommodate together Z-brackets leaving the tiles sitting high in many places. After many complaints they finally notched the tiles. Slightly over a year later now my roof leaks under the solar panels. Many attempts to reach Milholland are in vain as they flat out do not respond. SIRC their parent company did respond only once and sent out a roofer who found cracked roof tiles at the Z-brackets and just smeared mastic over the the cracked tile. he told me to contact the solar company to come properly fix it. Impossible since they are non-responsive. Stay as far away as possible from Milholland unless you want poor quality and poor service!!

  So many reasons why I WOULD NOT recommend this solar company to others. At first it seemed to be rainbows, sunshine and perfect promises. Then it turned out too good to be true. They are impossible to contact and take weeks to get ahold of when we found a leak due to the rain season. They show up to your house unannounced on their own time and do not care whether it is a good time or not to fix what needs to get fixed. They promised us no money to get it installed and since we are selling our home - now are trying to charge both our home buyer and us 10K to transfer the lease with them. Oh, this is also after nearly two weeks of trying to get a hold of them in the first place of transferring to new buyers. We never got the 10k rebate that was promised either. Milholland is not a trustworthy company if you are looking for someone to be customer service based or careful with your home. They are a cancer to actual reputable Solar companies and deserve to be burned to the ground. I will never trust, like, or want to use another Solar company again because of how useless and negatively they have impacted my home with their negligence. Rating: 0.5/5 stars ✨

  DO NOT BUY SOLAR FROM THIS COMPANY. My husband and I felt confident after researching solar options that this would be the best company. How we were wrong!!!!!! Our solar representative talked the talk and was more than happy to help us in the beginning. Then when things got a little dicey, he kept pushing the blame on different departments. It took over 4 months for our solar to pass city inspections because of careless mistakes made by the company. Once our solar was turned on, we kept receiving bills from our electric company month after month. This didn’t make sense to me since we purchased enough panels to produce 130% of our current electricity needs. We were PROMISED over and over that all we would see from Edison was a $10 regulatory fee each month. We would be producing adequate solar. NOT THE CASE! Month after month we have not only paid our solar loan, but we have also paid our electricity bill. We would have been better off not even getting solar in the first place. I’ve tried to speak to someone repeatedly who could help. I’ve left my name and number several times, but no one has called me back. I AM FURIOUS!!!!! I feel like we have been lied to, taken advantage of and left in a lurch. No one seems to care because they have our money. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM SUNPOWER. YOU WILL REGRET IT! S Terry

  Been having communication issues with the monitor. Its connected to my WIFI and disconnects with an error although its still connected to my wifi. The tech came by fixed it with software update, but still having the error. Also the cellular …

  We decided to upgrade to solar/battery. After extensive research we selected McKay (now Nuonenergy) for both re-roofing and solar/battery install. Reason for choosing them was due to competitive price, single source for both re-roofing and solar/battery install as well as a very helpful and friendly sales team. The install went smoothly. Explained workflow in advance the completed work in a timely fashion. Work was completed by different teams all of whom were professional and friendly. They left worksite clean and communicated next steps in advance so we could plan our day. System install now completed, including all inspections by city and electrical provider. Very satisfied with the service we received from McKay/Nuonenergy.

  I’m so glad I went with McKay Roofing to replace my 30-year roof. The workers were always on time and did a thorough job of cleaning up each day. I was told beforehand of the cost to repair water damage that was found, which I appreciated. I would highly recommend McKay Roofing.

  McKay roofing did an outstanding job on my roofing project. From start to finish all aspects of the project were well communicated. The roofing crew were professional and did excellent work. Started on time and did clean up every day. Highly recommend this roofing company.

  I am an 81 year-old woman recently widowed. I discovered that my solar panels were not producing. I spent hours making phone calls and searching online trying to find help. Thank goodness I found this company. They were so easy to deal with. They came out right away, they kept their word. I will A couple more things done before we can be completed, but I am very confident in them. If you need help, give them a call.

  I have used McKay since 2022 for all my reroofs needed for solar. They provided such great service that I decided to end up partnering up with them. Erick has done exceptional service and work. Great experience.

  I’m very happy with the solar panels and batteries installed at my property. The system works great, and the savings have been better than I expected. We have power outages in our area pretty often, so having the batteries has been very helpful. The whole process was also very easy. I McKay Roofing handled everything from start to finish, kept me updated, and delivered exactly what they promised. There were no hidden fees or unexpected charges. The installation was done professionally. I would definitely recommend McKay Roofing
