I will never do business with a company that shows such blatant disregard for public safety. While I was making a wide right turn from 1774 onto Gayle St with a truck, trailer, and excavator, the owner (driving a white Toyota with the company logo) came flying up to the stop sign while on her phone. Despite me being halfway through my turn and my trailer blocking traffic on 1774, she refused to move or back up to let me finish the turn, instead choosing to honk and act entitled. People from nearby businesses tried to intervene and she still refused. She stated I needed to back up and let her go. It is incredibly reckless to behave this way—especially in a branded vehicle. If this is how the owner treats people in the community, I certainly don't trust them with my business. *edit due to the business owners reply below. She's a liar as well. This was witnessed by two Shipley employees. One of which told her she should move. She was not stopped at the stop sign or would have not started my turn (I do this daily). She was talking on the phone and not paying attention. She was over 100 ft from the stop sign before I began my turn. I actually focus on the road ahead of me What I did was not unsafe, it is necessary when pulling a 25 ft trailer with a 25ft long truck. She would rather sit and argue while my trailer is stuck out on a busy roadway then admit she made minor mistake and move on.

Mr. Hernandez, Thank you for sharing your perspective. I would like to clarify what occurred on January 21st at approximately 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of FM 1774 and Gayle Street. I was driving a company vehicle and was fully stopped at the stop sign, preparing to turn right. As you approached making a wide turn with a truck, trailer, and excavator, the situation appeared unsafe. The horn was used briefly as a safety measure to alert you to my presence, as you were approaching quickly while making a wide turn and did not appear to slow down. At that point, your vehicle and trailer were extending into the intersection and blocking traffic. Once it became clear that you had a trailer and could not easily back up, I moved my vehicle into the Shipley Do-Nuts parking lot to allow you to complete your turn and safely clear the roadway. During all of this, I continued to ask you to stop screaming, honking, and acting disrespectfully. After backing up, I used my horn and motioned with my hand to indicate that you could proceed forward. Safety is a top priority for Magnolia Home Xperts, and we take all concerns seriously. It was never my intention to disregard public safety or act unprofessionally. This was an unfortunate and stressful situation for both parties, but we remain committed to respectful, safe conduct within our community. Magnolia Home Xperts, LLC.

I had just a small project to hang 2 bedroom doors. They got to it right away, bought the doors and finished quickly leaving everything spotless. I’m extremely happy with their work and will definitely be using them again on any home project in the future.

We had an awesome experience with Magnolia Home Xperts. Last year we had some storm and wind damage after Hurricane Beryl. They came out the very next day. MHX helped us put in our claim and supported us until our insurance finally paid. We got a great quality roof as well as a solar vent installed over the garage. The workers left our home spotless. Had a few other small projects done and we were very happy with those results as well. We highly recommend MHX for any roofing or construction project. We are very satisfied customers and would hire them again without hesitation. Thank you MHX!!!

David sent someone out today after I talked to him just yesterday and repaired the shingles on my shed. This was supposed to be under warranty from another roofer, but that roofer refused to come out and fix his mistakes. Magnolia Home Xperts came to my rescue! Thank you so much!

We could not be more grateful to David, Norma, and the entire Magnolia Home Xperts team for turning our hurricane‑devastated wreck into the home of our dreams. From our very first meeting, they showed compassion, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to restoring not just our house but our peace of mind. David personally walked us through every detail—from selecting the right roofing materials to reinforcing the foundation—always explaining our options clearly and honestly. Norma kept the whole project on track, coordinating subs, securing permits, and answering our endless questions with patience and warmth. Their craftsmanship was impeccable from the roof down to the foundation. The new roof was expertly installed to withstand future storms, the walls went up plumb and true, and every beam and joist was precisely placed. They poured a rock‑solid foundation that feels like it will last a lifetime. Beyond the structure itself, our severely damaged fence, sprinkler system and grass were replaced with a beautiful new fence, new sprinkler system, and fresh sod that made our landscape look brand‑new. Throughout it all, they treated our property with respect—tidying up daily, protecting our remaining landscaping, and above all, listening to what mattered most to us. Not only did Magnolia Home Xperts meet every deadline, they finished ahead of schedule and stayed within our budget despite unforeseen challenges. Every subcontractor they brought on board reflected the same high standards, and every stage of the rebuild—inside and out—was handled with care and attention to detail. If you need a contractor who combines top‑tier skills, unwavering integrity, and heartfelt care, look no further than Magnolia Home Xperts. David, Norma, and their team went above and beyond to rebuild our house into a true sanctuary. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better partner through this journey.

Magnolia Home Xperts did a complete remodel of our master and guest baths. David and Norma helped come up with a plan that gave us everything we wanted in the remodels. Every step of the way was high quality. To ensure it was done right, Norma is a perfectionist, and it all had to meet her approval before it was considered complete. The finished baths exceeded our expectations and David and Norma were great to work with.

We choose Magnolia Home Xperts to remove and rebuild an elevated deck/carport, remove, and replace the roof on the house and garage and completely repaint the house and garage. Norma, David, and their large team of specialists worked tirelessly to complete our project through the incredible heat this summer. They completed the job as described within the budget and time constraints. In a job this large there are invariably issues that could not be estimated before getting into the build. They presented the issues, offered solutions and we worked through them. The work was top notch, and the transformation is incredible. We are extremely pleased with the final product. We would be comfortable calling Magnolia Home Xperts for any future work. Here is the final result. Ralph and Christine Barthel
