  They replaced my apartment buildings roof and after only one winter, it began to leak. With repetative calls, texts and emails They did finaly come back to fix with silicone and without my knowledge. Then 6 months later, I have 2 new places leaking and Ive been trying to get them back since Jan. (4month ago) neumerous text email and calls to no avail. Chris even told he was going to call me back never bothered. Also told me it's acceptable to put new shingles on top of old ones as I found out they did (after the fact) on my building. I strongly advise to reconsider. BY Keith Slack.

  To to respond to Mr. Bonang's comments, I would like to say that I met with David Bonang and his father who were working outside of the home removing brush and debris from the side of their home at that time. I had measured the roof form the ground and come up with an estimate which I presented to both Mr. Bonang and his father. Mr. Bonang brought up to me the roof decking. I talked about it, he said he had been up in his attic and all looked fine to him. I mentioned to him, if you look in the attic you cannot see the 2' overhangs ( the eaves ) from within the attic cavity. We went on the assumption the roof decking was in good condition. Once the roof had been stripped down to the bare wood deck, it was discovered the roof deck sheathing did not have the integrity left in the boards to withstand or support the installation of new roofing. This is not always known by merely looking in an attic cavity. The true integrity of a roof deck is only known once the existing roofing materials have been removed and you can see what is before you. On initially viewing the roof from the exterior, the roof deck appeared to be flat and straight. It was brought up, "what are the chances of the roof deck needing work?" My response was 50/50. It is always the customer's final decision if they would like to have the plywood roof deck put on to ensure a solid roof deck or not. We do express our opinion and inform the customer that if in the event they choose not to have the plywood overlay, we cannot offer a shingle blow off warranty. This is specified within the literature from the shingle manufacturer and verbally given to the customer by our foreman. In this case, Mr. Bonang chose to have this work done and we proceeded and did just that. It was only after Mr. Bonang's father had paid the bill that David Bonang put up a post on Google discrediting our company and work practices.   Mader's roofing is fabulous. They put on a new roof in 2 days, cleaned up the mess and were so polite. I could not ask for more.

  March 2022 Had to replace 18 yr old roof with many missing shingles, Larry responded to my email quickly and showed up promptly to assess. The quote was reasonable and was hoping to get booked in as soon as I could but figured it might not be until May. Larry new I was anxious about the age of the roof and the missing shingles with the high winds we have been having and my fear of leaks, and with a decent stretch of weather was able to book me in sooner. Workers were very professional, hard working and friendly and did an excellent job! Couldn't be more pleased!! Would highly recommend them! Jane

  I feel the need to comment on the negative review: I have known Larry since 2007 and he is one of the most straight forward and honest people I know. Mader's has been in the roofing business for over 30 years, accredited with the BBB for over 26 and maintained an A+ rating. Larry would never jeopardize what he built so please take these comments with a big grain of salt because you never know the real reason someone may be lashing out. Using a public platform like Google as a platform to blow off steam is pretty low. As a home owner, not getting the BBB involved in this situation speaks volumes because they would need to defend their claims. But don't just take my word for it. Meet Larry and find and out for yourself! I am 100% confident you'll have as much respect for him as I do.
