  If I could give them zero stars I would! This has been the most UNPROFESSIONAL company I have ever dealt with in my life! No one ever answers the phone in the office and it takes forever to respond to voicemails! My experience has been HELL from the beginning! Gerald came out to give me a quote as my roof had started leaking. He was very pleasant and the quote was great! He stated it would take about 2 weeks to get someone out to do the job. Fine. 2 weeks pass so I called to find out what was going on. They informed me someone would be there the following week to start. They would deliver the materials Tuesday and start Wednesday. Wednesday came and nothing. I contacted the office and they said oh it supposed to rain (never rained) they will be there Friday or Saturday for sure... Saturday came and NOTHING! No updates or anything. Of course no one in the office ever answers so I called Gerald to see what was going on. He then told me”since you live in Detroit none of the roofers want to do your job! They’re scared to come to Detroit!” (A little racially stereotypical if you ask me! Every area in Detroit is not bad! But you narrowed minded individuals would know that if you would do your job or simply ASK QUESTIONS) Well why the hell was I not informed of that in the beginning instead of waiting for a month to get the job done! Why keep giving me the run around when you knew all along none of your workers wanted to step foot in Detroit?!? So I haven’t been able to park in my driveway due to the dumpster for a week now because you wouldn’t be upfront and honest with me! I was thinking the reviews I saw on here were just one off but now I know to trust them! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They’re extremely unprofessional! I’m am trying to cancel services with them now and for them to come get the materials that has been sitting on my roof for a week now and this dumpster so I can finally use my driveway again!

  This company damaged personal property and did not accept responsibility for their mistakes. I do not recomend this company to anybody, please take this as a warning and give somebody else your buisness.

  Damaged the upper and lower level gutters during installation. Promised to make good but will not return phone calls. I guess that's what happens when you pay cash. I'll be up on my roof to fix them myself since they do not drain correctly now during a heavy rain.

  At the end of April signed with M & A Roofing to do a tear-off and replace the shingles on our house and garage, replace the siding on the garage, and install new gutters on the garage. We were told that it would be about 2 weeks for the roof to be replaced and 3 - 4 weeks for the garage to be done. It took 3-4 weeks to get the shingle job done which was fine but I had to fight with the crew to do the job right. They won't replace rotten wood even though replacement sheets are built into the cost. They didn't want to put the baffles in so the edge vents can work properly and when they finally did do it they didn't replace the wood they pried up but instead put the 40 year old wood back down with the same nails through the same nail holes. They shingled over my bathroom exhaust fan and told me to just aim the ducting at one of the can vents. The first rainfall and we had a leak. It took 2 1/2 months to get the siding on the garage done. Looks good but they used 3 inch nails and didn't bother to try and hit a stud. My interior of the garage is loaded with nails that stick out about 1 1/2 inches into the garage that I'm going to have to go through and trim down. Waited over 3 months for the gutters to be done before I fired them and got someone else to do the job. The new contractor came out on a Thursday, we talked, they told me they would be out the following Tuesday to do the job and lo and behold they came out when they said they would, and did a great job.

  We cannot say enough about Michael and his crew. We have used them twice personally: once for a full roof tear down and replacement on our personal home and another for our large barn. We have also asked him numerous times to help our real estate clients with their needs. Our personal and professional experience with MA Roofing could not be better. Great pricing, strong communication, responsive to wants and needs, and excellent craftsmanship! You rock it Brother!!

  Took advantage of having a local company put on a roof at my home. Quick, kind, and very reasonable on price. Worked with Mike and his staff to get what we wanted and everything turned out great. The new roof really sets our house apart we are happy we did this update and how it looks now. Looking forward to doing matching black gutters and updating our siding next year.

  Had M & A install new roof, gutters, and shutters the end of April, 2018. Our salesman, Paul Kelly, was very knowledgeable and helpful. He spent a lot of time checking out different items around our house and giving us some good improvement suggestions. Their quote was very competitive and complete. Some of the other roofers we called would not do the flat parts of our roof. Our roof is more complex than a lot of roofs, so it took the installers longer than was estimated. However, once they started they came every day and the whole job was completed in five days (working full days Saturday & Sunday). The clean up was excellent. We were impressed with the both our salesman and the gutter installer who suggested that we move one of the down spout from a corner of the house where we were getting some water seepage in the basement after a hard rain to a different location. Since the new installation the basement is completely dry. The office staff was also very helpful and friendly in addressing any concerns we had during and after the completion of the job. We would highly recommend M & A Roofing. David Hansz
