  I hired Lucas Roofing to install a new roof and gutter system on our new construction home. Roofer was quick and installed the entire roof in a day. My one issue with them was the crew used hammers to tear up my roof sheathing near the ridges so they could tie their safety ropes to the ridges. Now there are holes where shingles have nothing to attach to. My biggest issue was with the gutter crew. The crew consisted of one 70'ish year old, a 24 year old, and 2 high school summer interns. They installed my gutters on top of the drip edge and the gutters hung at a 30 degree angle to the ground. I had them come back to fix it and instead of removing the drip edge, as I requested, they installed wedges between the gutter and fascia to level gutter to ground. James assured me that my concern was misplaced and no water would get between the gutter and fascia. Each time it rained I would see water pouring between the fascia and gutter coming right down the sandwiched drip edge. James sent the same incompetent crew back to correct the issue twice and to this day I still have leaking water between the gutter and fascia. I don't want that gutter crew back on my property again so I live with this disaster. I've had 3 gutter installers out to my house since and every time they ask me who installed my gutters as soon as they walk up to my house. New house and so much damage caused to my fascia by this gutter crew! I wasted $4,000 and will have to pay for another crew to redo the mess that Lucas Roofing left me with. James unfortunately never came out to the job site to conduct quality assurance on the gutter crew. The gutters were installed with short screws all over, pulling my fascia away at the roof and there are dips on the long runs that don't drain correctly. After 1 year with these gutters I am beyond disappointed!

  Had them come out and look at putting a new roof on 2 houses. I called them numerous times, even left a voice-mail. I never got an estimate so I had to use another contractor.

  Mr. Hargrove looking back in our records we show you called in on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at 2:11pm our salesman our normally out in the field and due to cell phone service it takes us a little time to get in touch with them, also with the rain had set us back with getting on roofs. I show we emailed you with the proposal Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 12:50pm. I am truly sorry we didn't get the estimate to you faster. We do appreciate the opportunity.   Took forever to get them out to the house. charge 3000$ for 2 and a half hours of work.

  Had metal roof done. Panels were put on wrong not aligned, insulation cut short and falling, missing screws and loose ones, roof leaks, etc. Been trying for awhile to get this resolved with no response.

  This company is the best. James, the owner, is very professional and knowledgeable and his employees are top notch. I have had a new house roof, gutters and chimney work done by this company over the last few years and they did a wonderful job. Highly recommend them.

  As always, excellent job done on our last section of gutters. A 100' straight run that drains well and looks great. Everyone we have dealt with on site have been courteous and really know what they are doing. And always clean up well.

  Although this was a small job , it was a pleasure working with Zane for the 4th time. He is both personable and professional. I also appreciate being supplied with some insulation where the roof leaked from the vent pipe into the attic floor.

  We had Lucas roofing repair our standing seam metal roof. It involved removing all the stone off the chimney reflashing and replacing all bad decking. Photos were taken all during the process. The work was quickly done, cleanly done and very professional. Highly recommend these guys.
