  Hi, We are not sure what you mean by shingles not installed to the center of your troughs but we can definitely come and take a look and figure out a solution seeing as the other contractor you had come in and charge an extra $500 could not resolve it. The transition of ownership took place at the end of 2019 and this review is coming near the last quarter of 2024. To date, we have no record of any calls or emails coming in for this matter. As for Maxi vents, they are not a GAF product and thus being a "GAF Certified" Contractor has no correlation to the installation of those. Also, a BP underlayment is not a lesser product and does not VOID any GAF System Plus Warranty. To qualify for the warranty, 3 GAF products need to be used on the roof system (WeatherWatch Ice and Water Shield, Pro-Start Starter Strip, Seal-A-Ridge Cap Shingle, in addition to Timberline Shingles) Steps have been taken with the crew since 2019 (the same crew prior to ownership takeover) to mitigate the cigarette butts and coffee cups left behind.   Horrible experience with this company. Installation occurred in December 2018. Upon completion, noticed that shingles were sticking up in areas over garage. It looked like I needed a new roof. Called to express my concern. A representative came out to tell me that shingles would flatten out when the weather warmed up. In April, roof started leaking over the garage. Called the company and they sent someone out to look at the roof. The representative fixed the problem and stated that the installation in that area was not done properly. At that time I pointed out that areas of the roof where shingles were sticking up and, in one case sticking out over the eavestrough. I was informed that this could be fixed. That was in May...it is October now and still no action from the roofer after repeated calls. Owner has promised to come to my residence twice now. Once a scheduled meeting at 6 pm which forced me to leave work early. The result was a "no show" by the Owner without any communication that the meeting should be cancelled. The second was a meeting at 9 am the subsequent Saturday. Received a call from the Owner two hours later to cancel. Since that point in time all of my calls to LP Platinum have not been returned. The majority of houses on my street have new roofs. All look professionally done. The work done at my house however is sub-par at best. LP Platinum did a sloppy job and their customer service is poor. I just worry about further leaks in the near future.

  Very disappointed in LP Platinum. After arranging an appointment for a quote in Feb'19, the owner came out to give us an estimate. He promised he would email a quote in a few days. After several follow up voice mails, of which only one was ever returned, a quote was never provided. It is now end of May. We appreciate that they could be busy, but that is no excuse for zero communication and complete disrespect of the client.

  I will give 5 star for this company Very open and very professional to deal with Adam the owner of the company was very flexible and easy to deal with . They just finished our roof they changed the plywood and shingles and so far everything is good no issues we did it in mid of November and after we got good amount of snow. So i recommend this company
