  Roofing tech sent out was new to roof damage and sided with insurance company during inspection. He previously informed me to call insurance management for a 2nd inspection afterwards 2nd inspection he sided with inspector of insurance company. Then told me he had stated there wasn't much damage. I was left confused😕.

  Don't let these hacks hack up your home!! Better go on roof and check work I found 16 major issues. Look at this trim going into gutter and drove a screw all the way into BRAND NEW shower remodel!!!! Update glad over 500 views have been seen. Yes I was a real customer in Lake county Il not a fake report. Why would I use my real name ? To have retaliation? It's been over years ago. They don't remember paying me for 3" screw threw my shower? Also all the things they broke? Just telling the public to be careful with this contractor. They just farm labor out to sub contractors not their own workers. Now this was in the past so maybe it's changed? Looks like they got bigger now. But just ask them is the work subbed out ? Are the workers on your home W2 employees? This means they are on the payroll full time year after year and only work for them.

  Hi Jo, I am sorry to hear about your concerns, but if you wouldn’t mind I would like to ask you a few questions in order to get to the bottom of this. Can you please let me know who our company performed the work for in question? We do not have any record of a Jo Chek in our system as a previous customer so I am wondering if you worked with a different company possibly? I do know that if you are a customer of ours and called us about a concern due to work we performed, we would have immediately assessed and corrected any issues. please let me know some additional information and I will see how we can help. Thank you. UPDATE: 10/9/18. Due to no additional response from Jo Chek after trying to make contact multiple times, and more importantly absolutely no record of Jo Chek in our customer database, I believe this is not a customer of ours and possibly a competitor, disgruntled ex-employee or just a mistake all together. I did also notice on his/her negative Yelp review that he/she is located in California where we do not do business. I will be reporting this review to Google to be removed. Mr. or Mrs. Chek, if you are a customer of ours I would ask you again to reach out to our office and voice your concerns properly so we can see if there is a way to resolve them.

  We needed a quote to replace some damaged/worn siding. We contacted Legends and set up an appointment. Eric showed up on time and had a look at our project. He told us he would hook up with the appropriate staff that would do the work and return to measure and provide a contract. We never heard anything back from anyone at Legends. If they weren’t interested in the project, a phone call would have been appreciated.

  Hey Chuck, I agree with you. Erik has been back and forth working on a big project up in Wisconsin the past couple months (and he just had Covid last week as well on top of it), so I'm not sure if he somehow forgot or something got lost in the shuffle between him and our repair devision who would have been the next point of contact who would have reached out. Let me look into it and see what happened. UPDATE 9/20: If I am correct, you had an issue with your LP/Hardie Board siding that needed some repairs and Erik needed our LP/Hardie Board tech/installer to stop by your house first in order for him to be able to prepare an accurate quote for you. Erik did contact our tech/installer and asked him to stop over at your house and then get back to him with the info he needed. It seems our tech/installer never made it over to your house in order to get Erik what he needed. With Erik having a lot on his plate at this time it must have slipped his mind unfortunately. He did what he could but was awaiting a call back with the info he needed that he never received. We apologize for not getting back to you, but Erik also mentioned you never reached back out to him either. We do our very best, but at the same time we are only human and sometimes a follow up can be helpful and often appreciated if you haven't heard back from us. Hopefully you understand the situation and would consider adjusting your review from a 1-star given the situation. Please reach out to us if you still need our help in any way or would like to discuss things further. Thank you Chuck.   Ashley, we were under the impression, based on your positive Facebook feedback, that you were completely satisfied with your job last year. This past weekend, after responding to your call and immediately sending our repair tech out to your property (on Super Bowl Sunday) free of charge, it was determined that the issues were caused by ice damming, not workmanship. We ask you to please consider the extreme weather we have just endured (50 degrees below zero to 47 degrees within less than a week). If we replaced your roof and there was a leak related to workmanship during your warranty period we would have resolved the issue for you. Thank you. * UPDATE June 5th, 2019: I just want to mention that I do not believe this is an actual customer of Legend Exteriors & Construction. We do not have a customer by the first or last name of "Prince" in our customer database and it seems that he or she is unwilling to reply to us with any additional information or documentation to show that he or she was a customer of ours. I believe this is a false review possibly from a competitor. Legend Exteriors stands by our work and in the case that a customer may have a leak or other issue after completion we always do everything we can to help resolve it.

  I had my roof done a few years ago. Recently we had a leak in the garage roof.Josh had stated the problem was not with the roofing and after doing the water test Mike the repair team, confirmed that it was with the roofing and siding that was done. Mike fixed it with sealant, he guaranteed and promised me that the problem was fixed. This weekend with all the rain, the problem is still there. The leak may cause damage and mold. I sent a message to Josh when it happened and there is still no reply. I trusted the work was done and took his word, so much so I was going to the better business bureau to give them a good review but now.....

  Hi Mrs. Cardoza, we are a little confused by this review. Did you mean to post this negative review or was it possibly posted in between the time when Mike (our technician) was out for the first time and then Josh was back out and helped get this issue resolved? I know he had some personal matters, and there were a couple of days where he was out of the loop a little bit, but he mentioned that he still did his best to keep in touch with you during that period between repairs. As I know this issue was resolved, and because the issue was not actually related to work we performed, we are hoping you could please edit it accordingly. For the record, I also just wanted to note that after re-assessing the situation, we diagnosed that the leak was actually not related to the roof. It was due to a siding issue and the water was coming in on the second story right below the window. Although our company did not complete the siding work that faulted and caused this leak, as a favor to you guys Josh completed the repairs at below our labor and material costs to help out. Peter had thanked Josh for the generous offer on a service call with both our technician and Josh, which would have normally been a significantly higher rate. Josh mentioned that he even stayed on-site until our technician finished the siding repair and you guys were happy and thanked him for the help. Overall I apologize for any inconvenience you had to deal with, but we work really hard for our customers and really care about our reputation. I would like to ask you to please amend this review to show that you were satisfied with the help we provided you, which we are truly under the impression was the case in the end.   We had a very positive experience working with Steve in getting our roof replaced. He is a very trustworthy guy who gave us an honest assessment of our storm damage from a claims perspective, didn't try to oversell us, didn't put time pressure on us, patiently answered questions, and was very diligent in getting us a great roof for the long run at a reasonable price compared to competitors. The crew was very professional and worked promptly. Thanks!

  Dayne and Jim were great to work with. They made the process smooth and easy. They are very knowledgeable in their field and I felt all my concerns and questions were answered professionally and expertly. They provided quality and efficient work and my roof has never looked better.

  On Tuesday, July 28, 2026, Legend Exteriors did an excellent, accurate, and detailed landscaping job on my front lawn. The added edging, mulch, and three perfectly colored small shrubs make my front lawn picturesque. Working with the owners was purely enjoyable. Highly recommend. You won't go wrong in having Legend Exteriors upgrade your landscaping.

  My experience was great from the beginning with this company. The salesman was fantastic and gave me one of the 4 estimates I obtained. The bid was not the lowest and based my decision on his professionalism, his taking his time to explain to me what was needed, and answering my calls always for the next two weeks until I signed the contract. Within a week of signing the contract, he assigned a crew to begin work. Mike was the two man crew leader from the companies service department. He called and asked to come to my home and review the work which I agreed to. It was pouring rain when he arrived but he took his time and when he was done we met inside to discuss the plans in detail. He was very knowledgeable and it was easy to understand what needed to be done and most importantly what did not need to be done. He said he would start the next day and replacing the facia and soffit around my house would be done in a day. The next day Mike showed up with Adam, a very very polite young man who wanted to work, work, work. Professional in every way, this crew did a fantastic job and I will definitely use this company again.
