Save yourself the headache, go somewhere else. Poor communication, and a complete lack of ownership for their craft. I would encourage you look for any other company. …

I do not say this lightly, this has been the worst contracting experience I have ever had. I will try to be brief but there's a lot to cover. We called JPC regarding concerns about the front corner of our roof, which appeared to be sagging. The inspector that came out confirmed that it was due to water damage coming in from defunct chimney flashing, and due to poor ventilation, at least that entire half of the roof would need replacement. Flash forward to the job: 1. flashing replacement is done so poorly that they had to come back out to completely redo it - visually it just looked terrible, and it didn't even cover the supposed problem area anyway... 2. in the days following the job, my husband and I notice the sagging corner IS STILL SAGGING. 3. no wood was replaced, despite our being told during inspection that much more of the roof needed replacement than just the sagging corner, due to damage to the wood. ??? 4. JPC was supposed to schedule two things after our job was complete: a. solar panel reinstall - they forgot to do this, I had to call after hearing nothing for a week. b. dumpster removal - we were told this happens within a day or two of the completion of the job, they forgot about this as well and the dumpster sat in our driveway for over a week. If you can believe it, I had to call multiple times about this one. It has now been over three months since the roof replacement. The flashing was redone, so that's all set. However, we have been in contact with several people, including upper management at JPC, and nobody has made any effort to address our concerns about the sagging corner. We set up times for them to come back out and they flake on us. Regarding the wood, they basically said that when they come out to do the job, if they don't feel any wood needs replacement, they don't replace it... okay but you told me this was part of the issue that led us to doing a job this size in the first place!! The worst part, throughout all of this, I get an

I would provide a lower rating if possible. The crew that performed the actual work was great - However, JP Carroll's post project response and attending to issues is nonexistent, TERRIBLE! I paid for the replacement of 5-pieces of CDX plywood, with an adder for addition boards needed (expecting the possibility of 8-boards needing replacement)…only 2 were replaced (with no credit provided for the other 3). It took them 3-months to 'complete' the job, though they now recommend I hire a mold expert for treatment - this is why the boards were to be replaced to begin with. They've 'ghosted' me since they started the project, no return calls or resolution yet...3-months and counting!...STAY AWAY FROM JP CARROLL!

Fantastic experience - again - with JP Carroll. They did a fantastic job 10 years ago on our last house, so it was a no-brainer calling them again after we moved. We were provided with several options with their estimate, and they helped us choose the best solution for our unique needs. Installation was a breeze from scheduling through the install itself. Communication was great throughout. Alex was our PM and did a fantastic job. 10/10 would recommend.

I'll start by saying I clicked on some social media link... Phone calls came through, and a consultation was set. Adam came to our house and he could not have been more friendly and well prepared! He walked us through the entire project as if we didn't know anything (and we didn't!) and broke down all explanations as we needed. Spent way more time with us than I'm sure he was planning to, but it was because of him that we decided to do this project now and not wait until it was a necessity. To say he's a huge asset to your company would be criminally understated. Fast forward to almost a month later, we are now at the start of our project. Punctuality is of high importance to us and the crew showed up right ahead of the scheduled arrival time. And now we have the project manager and his name is Rob. Rob was incredibly responsive and professional. Answered all questions and concerns in a timely manner, and broke down exactly what we should have expected. Not to mention he gave us his number and we were told to reach out to him with any and all questions and concerns. One would think that this is just the expectation of service nowadays, I'm here to say that isn't always the case. This project is a major investment not just for now, but also for the future. Thank you JP Carroll, Adam, John and Rob!
