  Company said they sent the contract “earlier in the week” to sign & didn’t hear back so they cancelled the contract, which is false. They sent the contract 6/5/26, 10:49am (see photos) Then declined the contract THE SAME DAY, 11:29 am due to lack of communication. SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS. No phone call, no follow up, nothing. I live in Washington State & flew down to meet them & pay them, since they don’t take credit cards. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Don’t waste your time. They will lie to gain your trust, then waste your time.

  To the Hatchett family, first, we want to say we are sincerely sorry that this inconvenient situation has arisen- we hear your frustration. Our intent has never been to cost our customers thousands of dollars in home repairs. When it comes to the rare scenario that a nail penetrates and damages a customer’s plumbing or A/C lines, we want you to understand the struggle we are up against in hopes that we can reach a mutual understanding of the nature of this issue. Asphalt Roofing Management Association (ARMA) and National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) specifications call for the placement of roofing nails so that the point of the nail penetrates the deck and protrudes through the underside of the plywood decking. With integrity in mind, unforeseen issues could occur when we adhere to this specification, such as the unavoidable puncture of gas lines, freon lines, and electrical lines not running according to accepted building codes. While you may not be aware of the proximity to the roof deck of the lines, professional roofing contractors cannot be held responsible for damage to the concealed lines that are installed in violation of those accepted building codes. This is considered collateral damage based on improper installation. We will send you an additional letter outlining further details of the Residential Building Code (RBC) and International Residential Code (IRC) codes that apply to your home. Again, we hear your frustration, but this is out of our control. In cases where your attic cannot be inspected, roofing contractors do not have any way of seeing through the deck to know if the gas lines are up to code and, therefore, assume that the home is built to code. If not and a line is hit, the installer of such lines is responsible for incorrectly setting or failing to install nail shields on the unprotected lines. “Any negligence claim would rest with the installer of said lines or the person or persons who directed such improper installation.” Lastl

We would have loved the opportunity to resolve this issue ahead of time, but when you came to our office to pay yesterday we were not made aware that you were unhappy prior to you paying your balance and writing this review. Jon, our residential director, reached out to you to resolve the issue, and refunded your balance, as soon as it was brought to our attention. We pride ourselves on providing quality service to all of our customers, and hope that our customers feel comfortable letting us know if they are not so we can rectify the situation immediately, however in this instance we were not given that opportunity.

  Would not use this guy. He was going against Arlington code to re roof my house brcause he wanted to do it fast and make money. When I told him the insurance told me it was against city code. He sent an email refusing to do the job

  I apologize you feel this way, we roofed this house in October and you took over ownership soon after. We were unaware of bad shingles until your phone call. With it being a manufacturer warranty the process moves a bit slower, the issue was with the shingles themselves and not the installation. We resolved it as quickly and efficiently as we could while working with the manufacturer.

  I am sorry to hear that you have had a bad experience with us. You are right we do obtain a GAF Master Elite status, not only for our years in the business, but also for the work we provide. Looking back on the records, we did not replace an entire slope of the roof, we did a small deck repair in a 10’ x 10’ section at the peak and added two wind turbines. With that, your entire roof is twenty years old as you said, except a 10’ x 10’ area. We received that initial call on Feb. 15th 2010, saw it that day and provided the bid that day as well. So yes, this year three days for a phone call does seem long to get a call back, but this year we have endured more rain than we had in years and had the call volume to go with it. Being in Arlington for thirty years we were inundated with calls, this not being anyone’s fault, but it did slow us down and we made that clear to all customers on initial phone call. We were only taking previous customers calls at that time to make sure we could accommodate them in a prompt manner. At the time of the call we were 3-5 business days out, and we were in line with that time frame given to you at the initial phone call with calling you on day three. Had we been given an opportunity this year to go back out and that was in fact the case that the whole roof was in good shape except the area we did five years ago we would have made sure it was taken care of.

As far as invoicing goes, Heather was trying to convey to you that we would never bill a customer without the work being done.   Joe Hall roofing has just finished re-roofing my house and I cannot brag on them enough. The crew that did the actual work was very nice, polite and professional. They cleaned up after themselves before they left. Today, Preston, who is their Guilty Control Specialist came out to review all the work that was done to be sure that it was all done correctly and the they did not damage any of my property or leave any debris laying around. My total experience with them has been fantastic, from the initial meeting with Trey Enterline the sales rep to the finished job has been a very good experience. They do fantastic work at a fair price.

  Preston, Trey and the roofing crew were great. They were very professional and friendly and listened to my questions and came back with answers. Even though the rain delayed us for several days they worked hard to protect my home and give us an exceptional looking roof. Stone coated steel shingles should last me a long time.

  Like many, our home was hit hard by the hailstorm of June 1, 2025. Our neighborhood was swarming with roofing company reps, but I already knew who I was going to call for inspection and repair/replacement of our roof. Joe Hall Roofing installed the original roof over 20 years ago and also served us after a previous hail event. As expected, they were fast in their response and thorough in their work. Coordinator Brandy Cotter was a big help, answering our questions and keeping the project on track. Brett Hall stepped in to deal with the challenges of such a big job. (There are always challenges!) This team goes out of their way to make sure the work is done right and to our satisfaction. The roofing team was very professional and did a great job from start to finish, including clean-up. When I visited the offices, I saw that the same spirit carried through the whole staff. When a crisis comes, it is great to have a hometown company to look to with the confidence that they will do the job to the utmost. Thanks, Brett, Brandy, and the whole Joe Hall team

  I had a them remove & install hail resistant roof with no issues. When they completed the project they did a thorough cleanup. They had to come back to repair damage when a tree limb came through roof. They are wonderful.

  The granules on my roof were prematurely falling off. Having used Joe Hall roofing before, I went to them, and 'Derek' helped me through the rather long and laborious process of filing a claim against the Warranty of the shingle company. Due to their expertise, I received a very acceptable settlement, and I just finished having the new roof installed. The finished product, the care and expertise of the work crew, the cleanup afterwards, and a visit a couple days later from 'Preston' to check the job with a 'Quality Control Checklist' that he went over with me, before he left... Wow, a very complete job at a very fair price, with so much attention given to the condition of the property afterwards, I can Highly Recommend Joe Hall roofing!

  I contacted Joe Hall Roofing for a second opinion after another roofing company failed to identify the source of an issue I was experiencing. The team arrived on time, quickly assessed the situation, and found the problem that the other company had completely missed. What impressed me most was their honesty and professionalism. They did their best to make a repair on the spot and didn't charge me anything for their time or effort. It's refreshing to find a company that genuinely wants to help rather than just make a sale.
