  I had John come to install skylights in my home, at the initial consultation he did not inspect or measure the site. That should have been a red flag! I paid John a nearly $10,000 deposit, and when he returned to install the skylights and sun tunnels it was clear that the skylights can not safely or legally be installed in my home according to building code. John then proceeded to install sun tunnels, the first of which was "ok" but he cracked the face by installing screws where the manufacturer did not recommend. The second sun tunnel he took upon himself to install in a different location than my explicit written and verbal instructions, lopsided at that. He admitted in text that he should not have made that decision without contacting me (I work one block away from home and informed John that I can attend to the site any time if he has questions) To add insult to injury he did not even sweep up the mess he made from cutting the drywall ceiling. John has refused to refund me ANY of my $10,000 deposit and will not answer texts, calls or emails. I am now left with the cost of repairing my ceiling, as well as being without the services I paid for. John is unprofessional and unqualified to provided the services he advertises. Shameful.

  Hello Sie. We apologize you feel this way, as you can clearly see I have not run away or any of the accusations your mentioned. Yes, you gave me 9 thousand and a little more, to buy all the materials you wanted at your place which were (3 special order skylights and two special order sun tunnels) so this is what you paid for. JJS Roofing takes 50% down to acquire materials and a little left for gas and drive time as you were about 2 hours away from where our base is, I had to spend two full days doing your sun tunnels. The screws you mention were after I had asked you if this was okay. (I had said do you find this okay if I do, As for the spot you wanted the sun tunnel is very tight and I'll cause tension on the sun tunnels inside frame) You said yes put some screws. There is much more to say but I believe this will be enough for my customers to appreciate.

  I had a small roof leak and John from JJ's Roofing Company was on site within 1.5 hours of my email -- very quick! He promptly assessed the problem and started the repair the same day. After removing the shingles, we could see that the damage was a little more extensive than we originally thought, and I appreciate that he takes pictures on the roof to explain/show the challenges. He replaced the plywood and shingles in the problematic area, and it looks great -- you can't even tell that a repair was done! He also replaced the vents for my bathroom ceiling fans since another contractor installed the incorrect ones. A side benefit is that my bathroom fans now work MUCH better than they did before -- my mirror doesn't even fog up any more! Thanks!

  Two weeks ago, I discovered a leak in my roof. After contacting several companies, I decided to have John come and take a look to see what was going on. After his professional inspection, he quickly identified the cause of the problem and perfectly resolved it. After a few weeks of occasional rain, I'm confident it's no longer leaking. Additionally, while fixing the leak, he found a large hole in my eaves and recommended that I have it patched. So, last Friday, amidst his busy schedule, he made time to seal the hole for me. He's incredibly efficient and professional, so if you have any roof-related issues, don't hesitate to call John.

  I had John recently come to my house to repair a roof on a new back entrance which was constructed poorly by someone else. caulk my eavesdrop corners & fasten down some loose soffits.John did the repairs as needed & even did a general roof inspection & seal my chimney mortar which I had no idea had small cracks with pictures to show me.Prompt service, reasonably priced & fantastic communication.I am pleased to say when I require a roofer, John will be the one I call.

  We recently had John come out to complete repairs on our roof. We had a hole in our roof made by raccoons, a leaking sunroof and also a gutter that was leaking heavily at a corner joint. John was prompt, professional, and knowledgeable and did an excellent job on the repairs. He communicated promptly and was punctual. We are happy to have found him and will use him for future products.

  My house needed a siding repair after being damaged by a wind storm. A friend of mine suggested calling John from the JJS Roofing Inc. John responded and acted upon my need quickly. He was reasonable in quoting, getting the job done on time and perfectly. I'll be happy to call him again if I need his service and strongly recommend him to anyone with a similar need.
