  Wow! Just got off the phone with Cordell!!!! He was really defensive and argumentative from the start as soon as I had an issue with a past job, 4 years ago. If I was a new customer he probably would come right out in a heart beat, but for a past customer it was an effort. He was obstructionistic from the beginning wanting to talk to an Air conditioning workman that said my roof had soft spots and was cushy. I said the AC guy was not a roofer and from Cordell’s attitude, I didn’t want to subject the AC guy to his abusive behavior anyway. For sure he would just argue with the AC guy! He maintained that he wouldn’t come out just because someone commented on my roof. He called me passive aggressive, and would want to talk to the AC guy first. No one would ever call me passive!!!!! As for the aggressive, I by think he was referring to himself!!! I ended by saying, either say you will come and stand by your work and check it out or say you will not. There was a long silence and he hung up on me. Do you want to do business with a Company that responds to you like that??? I guess if there are no complaints your in the clear but if you have a complaint you’re screwed! I’m calling another roofer to check it out.

  Diane, it is unfortunate in so many ways that would choose to post these comments. I listened to your concerns, assured you that we would come out (never denied it). I wanted to have a chance to speak with the AC guy to discuss what he discovered and the location of the discovery so that I wasn’t sending my boss out there blindly with exactly zero information! You were actually hostile about getting the AC guy involved which made no sense - he’s the one with the information! I tried to discuss our procedure with you and you simply weren’t listening to reason. We stand behind our work (past or new clients). You seemed to have a problem with me - you were angry, insulting and simply would not listen - so I suggested that you contact the Contractor and he could contact me which would be a normal channel to see to it that your needs are addressed. If you had been a more reasonable person and given me one phone number we wouldn’t be having this conversation right now - again, unfortunate!

  Our HOA association worked with Jim. He specializes in flat roofs and we were pleased. He is a very fair honest and reasonable person. His office manager Cordell is great totwork with. Thomas roofing worked on our roofs in April. Support San Clemente business. Thanks Jim and Cordell. Della
