Initially happy with the roof, however when later an issue arose with the work it was very difficult to get into contact and have any follow up. Still waiting 5 months later

Im not sure who Kalen is but We apologize for any issues you have. We were at Kim Westby's there as you had skylights leaking and we resealed all flashings and thought that would have been the issue. Never got a call back after several rains so figured it was taken care of. We will be there this week to see what else could be the issue. Rest assured we do follow ups and we are only human so again I apologize for the issue. Jamie Bower J Bower Roofing

They did decent work but when they came in they actually came inside to take a look at the ceilings to see if there was any water damage because the roof was that old and the vent in the bathroom had repairs around it obviously some kind of …

Our work is warranted and had stopped by twice and no one was around. Left a card both times. Our new appointment should take care of any issues

I am curious to know how come this company charged me $400 more for my roof done a year ago than a neighbour's who has the exact same villa as mine that he is doing in the next month. Asphalt shingles cost increases by 5% to 10% annually, and sometimes the cost will increase more than two times a year. Premium asphalt shingles cost twice as much in comparison. 2022 will be an extremely challenging year for the shingle material supply chain. I would like an explanation as to why I was charged more a year earlier. I was advised last year by Mr. Bower that the shingles would be increasing this year and I did get the information off Google as well. I have the right to ask and you have the right to respond - thank you for responding. You do not need to be on the defensive as I feel it was a fair question...have a great day....

Elaine. While a home may javelin the same interior footprint roofline can drastically change. Especially in the area youbare located where virtually no one roof had the same material measurements. I am not sure why instead of calling us you would put an Ill informed review up, bu5 I can assure you we priced you properly along with others in the area. I am also not sure where you are getting your figures from but they are incorrect.

Seen H bower Roofing around the trades for over 30 years. They changed the name to J Bower roofing when Harley’s son Jamie took over, luckily they kept the same logo, when I needed a roof I found them, several of my friends have used them …

Where this page comes from
Every figure above is Google’s, captured on 24 September 2026. The star average and the 10 ratings behind it are counted by Google across all of its reviews. The review text on this page is a sample — we hold 10, of which 7 have any text — and it is not everything Google shows.
Roof Warden does not verify licenses, bonds, insurance or workers’ compensation cover, and nothing on this page should be read as though we had. Confirm those directly with the contractor and with your state or provincial licensing body before you hire anyone.
There is not much data on J. Bower ROOFING. A short record here means our capture found little — not that there is nothing to find, and not that the business is new or inactive.
