I was initially very pleased with the work, the service and the price, but have since discovered that Israel's roofing work was done so poorly that I would have had Fewer issues if I had never let him touch it. He replaced a small flat roof but did not include any flashing between the old and new roof. I have had a minor leak ever since, and it recently turned into a massive leak, with the inner ceiling coming down and black mold. This could have all been avoided if he had done the work properly to begin with. Now I have a $20K+ job to clean up the mess he is responsible for. And insurance probably won't even cover it because they see it as negligence on my part (because I trusted him!) Choose your roofer based on experience and reputation for excellence, not price.

They replaced our siding and eaves. Although Isreal and his team was responsive during the time work was done (about a year ago), we've noticed the workmanship has not held up and they have not responded to our requests to come and fix significant issues, including the siding that is falling off the side of our house, which they just installed. Also the eaves are not properly installed and water is dripping off the corners of our house. Very disappointed they aren't standing behind their work and helping us prevent more damage. Just another contractor that takes the money and runs...disappointing. We hope we hear from him soon so this can be rectified.

Please make your home work and find license roofer. Unbelievable dishonest. Poor workmanship and no professionalism.

Where this page comes from
Every figure above is Google’s, captured on 24 September 2026. The star average and the 8 ratings behind it are counted by Google across all of its reviews. The review text on this page is a sample — we hold 7, of which 5 have any text — and it is not everything Google shows.
Roof Warden does not verify licenses, bonds, insurance or workers’ compensation cover, and nothing on this page should be read as though we had. Confirm those directly with the contractor and with your state or provincial licensing body before you hire anyone.
There is not much data on Hunter Roofing & Construction. A short record here means our capture found little — not that there is nothing to find, and not that the business is new or inactive.
