  They called my phone. Claiming i called them. I informed the lady I did not call. And proceeds to argue with me about if I called them or not.

  Never finished on time and left all tools and equipment on lawn and roof never said when they would return very unprofessional place to get your roof replaced and left roofing shingle debris all over the yard and never clean it up.

  We do apologize for this. We try not to tell our customers an exact time we will finish a job, due to uncontrolled circumstances; example additional wood replacement and bad weather. We also always make sure all jobs are completely cleaned up once the job is completed and during the job. Again we are extremely sorry for any inconvenience this has caused and that we have given you any distressing idea of our company and our quality of work.

  While we will say the roof was completed in a timely fashion, the quality of workmanship is terrible. We can only hope it will hold up. The needed repair to our home’s stucco, not to mention the landscaper’s lawnmower (due to what was left behind by the roofing team), and required tetanus shot needed due to the leftover scrap in the yard, were all additional costs we were not expecting. To say we are disappointed is an understatement.

  We completely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. We addressed the stucco issue with you at the time we were doing the roof and thought is was taken care of. We apologize but were not informed there were any other issues until we read this comment. Once this comment was read, we called you and the owner of Hopton Roofing came out, met with you and apologized in person. He also took care of the additional stucco issue and cleaned up all the left over debris. Please realize, we treat every home as is it was our own, and once we saw there was an issue with yours, we dealt with the issue immediately.

  I love my metal roof!! Hopton did a wonderful job!!! They were helpful, professional, knowledgeable and friendly!!! My roof is the envy of my neighborhood. Love coming home and seeing it!!! Will definitely recommend Hopton roofing

  I had extensive damage to my shake shingle roof after a storm. There were multiple holes and they were enormous. I reached out to many companies that claimed they could help and never even came to assess the project. I came across Hopton Roofing. They explained that they did not work on this specific kind of roof but they did offer to come out to cover the holes as a temporary and safe option that would hold up until I was able to get another roofing company to complete the full replacement. Hopton roofing went above and beyond, helping me in a very difficult time. The professionalism and skill level were outstanding. They showed up, on time, as promised. The work was completed quickly and done well. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a shingle or metal roof repair or replacement.

  After 6 years we had some concerns about our roof and Eric immediately came out on explained and reassured us it was still as good as new. This company is just the best. The truly stand behind the work. Just had our re-roof finished. They were so quick and clean and helpful with the scheduling. Thank you for getting us out of a time crunch. The roof looks great. Highly recommended

  Hopton replaced our roof about 7 years ago. A few days ago, I noticed that a portion of the metal fascia covering had dropped down. I suspected possible wood rot, so I wanted to tend to the matter quickly. Yesterday, I phoned Hopton and left a message. About an hour later Denise from Hopton returned my call and arranged to have someone come out today between (9am and noon) to inspect the problem. Shortly before 9am, the service tech was here, who determined that the problem was not wood rot, but a simple case of finishing nail failure which held the metal fascia to the fascia board. There was no paperwork needed, or any costs required on our part. We were relieved to learn that the problem was minor, but more importantly, we were left with the assurance that should something more serious be the case, Hopton stands behind its work. We tend to shy away from posting online reviews in general, but today's experience was something we felt was worthy of acknowledging. We highly recommend Hopton Roofing! Steve & Mary B

  While the estimated pricing quoted was about the same as the competition, the final price was about $1K more. Fascia boards that should have been replaced were not. When I called to find out why I was told they were dirty and needed to be power washed. I sent pics of the rotten boards. They finally agreed to replace them. When they did remove and replace the fascia, they bent the drip edge which then, also had to be replaced. The flat roof was not sealed properly and I requested the supervisor to take another look. He agreed it was not done properly and had the team put some tar down. They did not heat up the tar so it did not seal the material properly. I had to hire another company to seal it. Communication issues between the office and the field personnel lead to a lot of anxiety on my behalf. I'm giving them three stars because of the above issues.
