I can’t speak highly enough about Morgan and the Hearthstone team! We are first time homeowners who - as soon as moving in - had a litany of questions/concerns involving our roof. Morgan took the time to explain, note what should be fixed, …

My first interaction with Hearthstone Home Improvement was outstanding. Starting from discussing my quote to the final steps in the process. The Hearthstone team was professional. They showed up on schedule, cleaned after the job was completed. My flower bed and lawn was not damaged. This team are true professionals. My new roof looks amazing and the price was affordable. I will recommend this team to anyone who wants a great roof price and a hardworking team. Shoutout to the Prj Mgr Morgan. He did an awesome job breaking down the process showing before and after pictures as well as answering my questions with patience and understanding.

I am a first-time home buyer and when my roof started to leak, causing damage in my ceiling. I reached out to many roofers and Morgan of Hearthstone Home Improvements was the first to respond and even came out that day to check it out. He has been with me every step of the way, (I want to say almost a full year) he took over and would speak with insurance and fought for me to get full coverage. He really listened and understood my circumstances and knowing this was my first real big home repair. He made it so I could understand what is going on and that I understood every process along the way, so I would not get overwhelmed. I finally got fed up waiting for insurance and knowing Hurricane season was coming so we figured out a way to get my roof replaced and he did not just leave it at that. After the roof was completed and taking photos of more damage to send to insurance, he was able to get me more from insurance. The roof looks great better than it did, Morgan and his team did an awesome job at replacing the roof along with picking up all garbage that they had from material. They respected my neighbors who asked what company I went with and I showed his card to them. They took photos because I was not going to lose a way to contact him when I need more repairs on the house. Thank you to Morgan and his team for such an awesome job and the respect they had for my home. Thank you, Morgan, for making this first-time process for me, a lot easier and less stress for me. Highly recommend Hearthstone Home Improvement for everyone.

Update: I'm reducing my original 5 start rating because we had additional work done by Hearthstone. Communication was not very good, with long bouts of silence between text msgs, and even on the day of the job he still wasn't clear on what …

Thank you so much for your review Jenny. We always want to set clear expectations from the start, and I appreciate you sharing where the experience did not feel as clear as it should have. Congratulations on the sale of the house and wish you the best!

We appreciate this Alexandria homeowner for having us out to inspect their roof. During the visit, we found an attic vent on a slate roof that had been covered in excessive roofing tar instead of being installed and flashed properly. This kind of shortcut might look like a quick fix, but it makes future repairs much more difficult and often leads to bigger issues over time. Details matter, especially on systems like slate where proper installation is everything. #SlateRoof #RoofRepair #RoofInspection #AlexandriaVA #HearthstoneHomeImprovement #NorthernVirginiaContractor #SupportLocalBusiness #HomeCareDoneRight #ExteriorExpertsApr 9, 2026Book
