Be very leery of the cost of roof inspections! My recent roof inspection for a 2100 sq ft 2-story condo cost $420. I called Dustin, the inspector, 3 times for an explanation of costs and he did not return my calls. The Operations Manager, Lane, had no details when I called the office. I spoke to Lori, the Owner, and she promised a phone call back the next day. I never heard back.

Hello Miss Glanton, We understand your frustration and appreciate you sharing your perspective. The inspection you’re referring to was commissioned by your condominium association, which was our actual client. The project involved three site visits and a detailed forensic evaluation that included a review of multiple previous roofing inspections performed by other inspectors over an 18-month period. Our work focused on assessing code compliance and identifying installation errors made by the original roofing contractor. This technical evaluation required advanced expertise in building codes and manufacturer installation standards. A separate review from the condominium association, Lakes of Bent Tree, is also posted here, describing their experience with our professionalism and technical thoroughness. We hope this clarifies the purpose and scope of our involvement, and we wish you all the best in resolving any concerns with your association or contractor. —The Hail King Professional Roofing Team Lakes of Bent Tree Condominium Association: Hail King Professional Roofing was engaged by our association to perform a forensic evaluation of roofing work previously completed by another contractor. The inspection included three site visits and a comprehensive review of multiple prior inspection reports compiled over an 18‑month period. Their evaluation demonstrated a high level of technical rigor, with particular strength in identifying code compliance issues and interpreting manufacturer installation standards. The team provided clear documentation and professional guidance throughout the process. We were very satisfied with the thoroughness and expertise delivered by Hail King and would gladly work with them again in the future.

Communication is not the best unless they want to get their money, the roofers did a terrible job so they had to come back and redo some stuff because the work was so sloppy. The painters and the gutter people they use are amazing (which is why I gave 2 stars) and they did a fantastic job I must say so we were happy with those people but the roofers also left nails all over our property. I have almost run over multiple nails which would cause flat tires, our kids and dogs stepping on them, they left a lot of garbage around the front of our yard and in our driveway. Would not use again.

Thank you for sharing your honest feedback. We sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced with our roofing team, including the communication concerns, the need for rework, and the cleanup problems you described. This is not the standard of service we strive to provide, and we understand how frustrating and disappointing this must have been for you. We are glad to hear you were pleased with the work done by our painters and gutter team, and we appreciate you recognizing their efforts. During your project, we also provided complimentary gutters and additional services as a gesture of goodwill, but we realize this does not excuse the shortcomings in other areas. Your comments about leftover nails and debris are especially concerning, as safety and cleanliness are top priorities for us. We will be addressing this directly with our roofing crew to ensure it does not happen again. Please know that your feedback is being taken seriously, and we are committed to making improvements. If you are open to it, we would appreciate the opportunity to discuss your experience further and see how we can make things right. Thank you again for bringing these matters to our attention.

Hail King is definitely worthy on the 5 star rating they have! When I had an issue with my roof I called them out and they were able to come out almost immediately! Not only were they fast to respond, but they were very knowledgeable, honest and respectful. A representative by the name Davis came to my home and he was very thorough and polite. This is my first house and I don't know much about roofing. Davis was patient with me and educated me on the matter and was able to even find me a huge discount for the materials for the job at hand. He explained to me that their family owned Christian company always looks for ways to give back and save money for the customers. They did a stellar job and I couldn't be happier with the final product. I will forever be a customer to them and in the future I will be recommending Hail King to all my family and friends. Thank you Davis and Hail King for everything!
