  Don't trust the Gulfstream Roofing Inc. Their warranties are worthless. After doing a job for over $150,000, they don't honor their warranty and demanding more money to fix a leek. They have been sued over 20 times for their practice. See Court official records. After posting this comment and the company owner's false response, We received a letter from the contractor's attorney demanding to remove the post or face a lawsuit. Wow.

  Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. We always strive to provide excellent service and stand by our work, so I want to clarify a few points mentioned in your review. Firstly, I would like to note that you are the third owner of the home since the roof was installed. Unfortunately, because the necessary paperwork to transfer the original roof warranty was not completed by any of the previous owners, we were unable to extend the warranty coverage. The terms of our warranty clearly state that it is only transferable if the proper documentation is provided. Regarding the comment about being sued, it’s important to understand that in our industry, contractors are often named in lawsuits that are primarily the fault of builders or due to a variety of other factors outside our control. This does not necessarily indicate any wrongdoing on our part. Our company has always taken pride in our integrity and commitment to resolving issues fairly and professionally. We value our customers and always aim to address any issues that arise to the best of our ability.   Called to get a new roof and Jen with a bad attitude told me to hurry up because she is busy. Really??? This is a 2 million dollar home why would she treat any costumer with that type of energy I work with New Urban Communities a land developer and she block the company from expanding their business

  We appreciate your perspective and would like to address some aspects of your experience. Our records indicate that the repair proposal contract for the job was not signed and returned. As per our standard protocol, a 50% deposit is required to initiate the job, in accordance with the terms outlined in the contract. Unfortunately, without the signed contract and deposit, we were unable to proceed with the job as per industry standards. We understand that this may have caused frustration.   I had GSR out about 6 months ago to help me diagnose and repair my metal roof. I had them reflash a wall and caulk a few seams. Unfortunately roof is still leaking. I have been calling them almost weekly for 6 weeks to come out and see what can be done to fix it. I have not asked them to repair under warranty but just come out and look at it. I have been persistent with them as they know my roof and what they repaired before so I felt it would give them a leg up on a new company. When I call the office they are very nice and say they will get back to me soon but never do. At this point I am taking my business elsewhere and would recommend you do the same.

  BUYER BEWARE… After several attempts at getting Gulfstream Roofing to stand behind the $150,000 roof they installed 2 ½ years ago which was leaking in 7 different places, they refuse to do anything to fix the core issue. They prefer to do patchwork to correct the issue rather than correct the core problem and stand by their warranty. We now have learned that the concrete they used is defective and has cracked and the flat roof they installed does not drain properly. I would never recommend using this company!

  Mr. Raymond Saleeby, I would first like to start by clearing up any confusion by clarifying the timeline of events. Gulfstream Roofing, Inc. first worked on your home when it re-roofed the home in October 2007. At that time, the property was owned by the original owners. We re-roofed this house again in August of 2020 after several hurricanes. Since then, the home has changed hands three times, during which the home was tarped by the second owner Mr. Burrow’s for termites. During this process, and based upon our review, approximately 30 to 40 roof tiles were broken. We also know that four (4) damaged 16oz. Copper gooseneck vents were replaced. Gulfstream Roofing, Inc. came out to replace these tiles and gooseneck vents that were damaged during the tarping. No reported and confirmed leaks from Mr. Burrow’s once work was completed. When we were contacted most recently concerning leaks, our team used moisture meters and found no active leaks from the roof. Gulfstream Roofing, Inc. was able to find active leaks from the windows and cracks in the stucco, which Gulfstream Roofing Inc., does not service. Regarding the drainage issue, the roof was within the code that states any flat roof needs to drain and dry within 48 hours. Since this roof falls within the parameters, no work was necessary.  Additionally, regarding fixing these issues under warranty, and notwithstanding that any warranty would have been voided resulting from the aforementioned damage caused by the tarping of the roof, Gulfstream Roofing Inc.’s warranty is nontransferable. The roof warranty for the original construction of the roof was issued solely to the contracting party. Gulfstream has evaluated the condition and respectfully denies your warranty claim for the reasons discussed. If you'd like to discuss this with our team, please contact our office. - Robert J.   I had this company repair my roof after Irma, they were awesome. Jump forward three months ago, (April 2021) and I needed some roofing matters addressed. Naturally I called this company. I spoke with Diane in their office and she explained they are kinda backed up due to Covid. I was understanding and asked Diane to have them call me in two months to schedule an appointment. Well, here it is June 2021 and no follow up call. I took it upon myself to call them and again spoke with Diane. After explaining my needs Diane stated she will put me in the book for the week of June 14th and someone will call me to schedule the appointment. Here we sit June 18th, a full week after my second call and NO ONE responded to my needs. This company gives lip service and has ZERO follow through. If you call there DO NOT SPEAK with Diane as it's apparent she is lost on her duties.

  There is NOTHING professional about this company! I have been waiting over four months or more for the tile to arrive and have it placed, it's been so long I've lost track. Have texted and called with NO response. They are quick to want their money but not to give respectable service. My neighbors went with another company about the same time and have had their roof up over a month ago. Their excuse is... the tile needs to get ordered and it takes a while...really? A while??? this is what was said four months ago! Poor, Poor, Poor service. If the owner is allowing work to be done under his cc# by someone else he should be concern.

  A roof provides protection for your home, and when it is intact there are no leaks and your family can feel safe from the pounding rains in South Florida. It is also a major expense for maintaining your home and when things seem to be going wrong, or you suspect a problem it can elicit a shiver that bad news is ahead. How much will this cost, how will I afford it, who to call, whose opinion can I trust, and isn't it true that many roofers don't want to do repairs, but rather recommend a full replacement perhaps when not necessary. I had a previously bad experience with another company with whom we had a 15 year warranty. When we needed them, they didn't respond and I found out they had gone out of business. In this industry it is not unheard of to experience this, companies disappearing, resurrecting with new names and locations, avoiding responsibility for guaranteed work. Reviews online can be very misleading and just when you think you found someone perfect for the job proposed, you learn something awful, a seriously bad comment from a customer. I got a referral from my trusted pool professional and I immediately felt confidence when I met Jacob from Gulfstream Roofing which has been in business for 48 years. He has been with them for a long time and loves his job. He heard my concerns, addressed them, immediately inspected the roof, located the proper tiles to do the necessary repairs, and had his team come yesterday, spending several hours getting the work done and carefully, not doing quick fixes. I am so relieved to know what they found, how they addressed the problems, and have photos before and after the job was completed, and at a reasonable price. I am very happy and will recommend them highly to anyone seeking a reliable, experienced and professional company with a long track record and doing work held to the highest standard. Dr. S.

  A few years ago, I needed a repair job on my cement tile roof after a major storm in south Florida, and Gulf Stream did a very nice job, while also not trying to upsell me on a brand new roof .This year our 38 year roof finally needed to be replaced. I was confident Gulf Stream would give me a fair price and do a great job. And that’s exactly what they did. Kudos to Jacob for his help in getting the job completed in a timely manner, as well as just being a really good guy to work with. Would highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed.
