  I will not recommend this company to anybody! Gerken did not resolve my problem,said it was my shingles on existing roof not hanging over the drip edge enough. Did Gerkin try to resolve my proble,no they did not. Go figure, I had a professional company come out and do the work correctly,problem solved! Others that I know had the same results,problem not solved! Stay away from this company 🙏 please. If I could give them zero stars I would. That's it I'm done.

  On June 19th, they broke the awning above the door to our garage when doing repairs to the roof. They didn't notify us, and instead we had to call them. They sent someone on July 2nd (almost 2 weeks after the fact) to check the damage, who told us that they could either 1) replace/fix it for us or 2) remove it and compensate us for the damage. We chose option 2 because then we could just replace it ourselves. The man removed the awning and some of the other materials it was attached to and told us we should be hearing from their main office on the compensation. Since then, we've been getting the run around non-stop. Every time I call or my husband calls, either no one answers, or we're told "someone will be in touch." I finally talked to a woman yesterday, who essentially told us that there's no such thing as compensation as it would be less expensive for them to replace it - to which I say "why even offer to compensate us, at least for the materials we're going to have to purchase from your employee damaging it, if you don't mean it?" We've tried to call back multiple times, and at this point, it's been over a month and I'm done. We'll just cut our losses and advise everyone we know and work with against using them. It's unfortunate since the work they did to the roof and fascia board look great, but the management's lack of communication and accountability is just dishonest.

  Highly recommend! Gerken replaced our roof, fascia, gutters, and siding, and did an amazing job from start to finish. The crew was fast, efficient, and kept everything very clean throughout the project. The quality of the work was excellent, and their pricing was very reasonable. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out!
