  Had Fox Roofing provide a quote to possibly have a look at my roof and fix some shingles in May 2025. Mark came and provided a quote. The shingles were fine but he said the chimney needed some fixing and the eavestrough were not angled properly. He seemed very disorganized and after a month I never received a quote so I followed up. He eventually said he had the wrong email address and after several weeks I got the quote. I paid the 50% deposit to book the work. I waited weeks and still no response from the owner about what date I was scheduled to have the work completed. I sent emails and called, no response at all. I was afraid he had taken off with my deposit. I posted on social media asking if anyone knew how to contact him as I was sure my deposit has been taken and no response to date. He finally emerged and said he was up north and wasn't sure if the work had been competed or not. I must mention the job was scheduled and then rescheduled several times leading up to this. I asked for my deposit back as they had done zero work and at this point I had wasted months waiting without clear communication. He responded days later saying the eaves were completed and it was just the chimney work that remained. Eventually, he went to my house and "completed" the rest. I was working at the time and was not home. I had an invoice with the remaining balance immediately so he did move very quickly when it came to billing. I paid the remaining invoice. Since I don't live there 100% of the time, fast forward a few weeks. I'm sitting at my desk working at the front window and all of a sudden water is splashing all over the windows, deck, everywhere. Birds are using the eaves as a bird bath. I get on a ladder and the front eavestrough is filled with water. Absolutely nothing is draining. I took lots of pictures and called a reputable windows and door company I have recently used, they came within 2 days and said the eavestroughs were completed all wrong and only lifted up an

  Thank you for the review good or bad we do appreciate it as it helps us grow. I would like to point out that communication wasn’t an issue with this job at any point, deposit for the job was just over a $1000 and that we offer a 10 year warranty on workman ship alone as stated clearly in all my contracts. I apologize that when we booked you was during the rainy season this work can only be done when it is dry out. We came out to adjust your eavestroughs, flash your chimney, and check over your roof. Your troughs were needing adjusting due to improper installation as the installer had them dropped down 6 to 8 inches below where they should have actually been. Once job was completed we invoiced as normal sent you proof of all the work as requested and you paid the invoice we never asked when or how long just submitted it. When the weather cleared I had sent my guys there as I was on vacation to complete the work they felt like they wanted me to come and check it out when I was back from my week long family vacation and I agree with there decision in fact communication was so good that I even took time out of my vacation to respond to you. As soon as I was back we completed the work you were happy and paid the bill. Close to 2 months later I get a email saying the work was not done right I want my money back but you would not allow us to come out and honour our warranty not even look or provide any proof that there was a issue . After the hours we put in adjusting the troughs I’m sure all it would of needed was a few small adjustments and it would of been fine but I will never know as we were not given the opportunity I’m sorry you feel the way you do but please don’t spread lies about my business.

  Updated Response to the owner: I want to clarify the record. All communication with Fox Roofing Plus / Mark Fox was conducted exclusively via email, and multiple follow-up messages from me went unanswered. The main contracted work of supplying and installing eavestroughs was never started, despite 11 promised return dates between July and September. Partial work (ventilation holes, roof vents, flashing, and removal of rotten wood) was completed, and the 50% deposit already paid fully compensates that partial work. Any claims of extra work, or that I “refused to let them finish,” are misleading. This review is a factual account of the contract, payment, communication, and delays. It reflects my personal experience and is supported by documentation. I hired Fox Roofing Plus / Mark Fox in July 2025 for new eavestroughs, paying a $3,675 deposit (50%) upfront. The job was represented as taking 4 days. Between July and September, 11 promised return dates passed with no work and repeated excuses. The last message I received was on September 4, when he promised to come September 8 — he never showed and ignored emails for two weeks. The main work — supplying and installing eavestroughs — was never started. After months of delays, I had to hire another company to complete the job. Despite this, he threatened a lien for payment and demanded I pay for materials that never arrived, even though the contracted work was left incomplete.

  I’m not sure what your plan is here to be honest this is false information your giving out when we booked with you we were booking over a month out like any legitimate company should during busy season depending on job size. I responded to you every time the only emails I didn’t respond to was the two back to back sent two days in a row then you decided to try and run us down luckily we have many customers who know the truth. Now your refusing to let us finish the work when the job is near completion we also did extra work and we’re going to let you make payments this is why I always get deposits customers like you can ruin a business while waiting for customers to pay or be forced to pay legally by the courts.

  Had fix roofing do some eavestrough and facia repair had a issue with a eavestrough that came down he came and did a repair now I have a different eavestrough that had dropped have called and texted numerous time says he dropped by but never comes to see what wrong allwayschas some kind of excuses why he didn't show up but never call to try and set up not happy at all with his services
