  We paid an $11,000 down payment on a roof over one year ago and he vanished without doing the work. Before hiring Flodin, do yourself a favor and check the Court Repository.

  They took a hefty deposit and ghosted. Checked and they are not licensed to be working right now. SCAMMER!!

  Good initially but after many calls had to get another contractor to finish the work out of pocket.

  I had used them to replace my roof, and they did a pretty good job. I asked for a bid for replacing my old cedar deck with composite and it was a decent bid. They were a nice, hardworking and respectful crew - but they were apparently unfamiliar with composite as there were many little things that they did not do correctly and the finish work was very poorly done. Rails, steps and latices were either left undone or haphazard. I contacted TJ and initially he was responsive, but they did not finish the work or correct what was wrong. The project was at least $1000 more then the bid. I also had to hire someone to fix the things they left undone. I would not use them again.

  Hi Lisa, The work we did on the deck was in March 2018. Since then, the last email communication I can find that we had involved you stating you believed the deck was finished and you were happy. I don’t have any missed calls, voicemails, or other communication stating that you were unhappy in any way. I apologize if there were things you weren’t happy with, and I would have loved the opportunity to address them. The bid was $1000 more because the framing underneath the deck needed to be replaced. What you ended up paying for the deck is the amount you stated in an email that you were expecting to pay after fixing the framing issues, so I am a little confused about you being upset by that. I would like to come fix any problems you have if it’s not too late, being over a year later, or pay whatever you paid someone else.

  I am beyond satisfied with my new roof. TJ was responsive and timely throughout the whole project and the workmanship is top-notch. I would recommend 10/10.

  I was quite hopeful with Flodin Construction, but from the very beginning communication problems persisted. The original bid was half of what it should have been. Had he gotten on top of the roof, he would have known it was a complete tear off. Thankfully I had a great insurance company that worked with the additional bid ( almost doubling the cost_ ) The crew was hard working, although not as attentive to detail as I would have hoped. I have a very old Victorian, so trims were damaged, gutters were taken off, despite their mention that it wouldn't be a problem. Thankfully I held back some of the final payment until it was done to my satisfaction, Tj is a personable young man, I think perhaps with two many irons in the fire and it has hurt his communcation skills. Not communicating is high on my list of good business practices. . Disappointed... grateful to the insurance company ( Acuity) as well as the young kids that worked hard during extreme temps. UPDATE: TJ and his crew are finishing up the job today. The roof looks great, and the attention that he is paying to replace and repair the trim is paying off. The house looks great. The repairs and clean up of the interior room also damaged by the tear off is clean and the insulation is back in place. This took a while, and I'm not lying with the frustration factor with messages and missed responses to calls... I can recommend TJ and his crew, they are good people, it took longer than expected, but everything does right now. I'm grateful it's done.

  TJ and his crew just finished my roof, and facia boards on my house and shop. The whole crew worked hard, did a great job, and didn't leave a mess. TJ was great to work with and was very punctual! I would highly recommend there services to anyone.

  I called TJ after going with a few different contractors and he was on the ball. Him and his team got the roof done in a few days and looks amazing. They took all the frustration out of dealing with the insurance company. My roof was pretty rough and had four layers on it. So they had it tore off and new roof put on in under three days. Definitely recommended them to anyone needing a roof!

  I am so happy with the siding job that was done. I was informed every step of the way and the crew was very professional. The job was done in a timely manner and with great skill. I would recommend Flodin Construction to anyone!
