  I hired Feeney Roofing to replace my fascia, soffits, eavetroughs and gable ends on my home, because I heard they were a good company. What I got was four young men that didn't speak English. And the one that barely spoke English still had to have everything translated for him. On the first day they arrived i ended up having to go to the hospital, and when I came back the following day, I saw that they had cut the J trim in 3 places on each strip and 6 other spots around the house. When I complained about how bad it looked I was told " I didn't understand and that was the professional way of doing it" I insisted on changing it. Which they did. If it wasn't for my brother in law, a friend and my neighbor looking out for my welfare i would have blindly listened to them. On the last day I was asked to look and see if everything was OK, but never noticed they had run one of the troughs flat for about 20' to the downspout. My neighbor pointed it out to me. So I called Feeny's again and complained, so I was told to talk to Joey. When he came he tried to tell me that's the way it had to go. When I asked if there was water laying in the trough he didn't answer me. He eventually told me it when up hill to the downspout, and he would have to drop the trough lower than the eaves. I didn't care about that I just wanted the water to drain. I suggested dropping it at the downspout and Joey thought that might work. So he dropped it at the downspout and wouldn't you know the water ran out. I shouldn't have had to rely on my family and friends to look out for my best interests, that was Feeny's job. They didn't care. The one thing I take away from this disastrous experience, is to ask if the company sub-contracts the job, and if so I'll run... but I will share my experience with others.

  The roofers did a great job. The job did drag out from a few days to a week. But the roof looks good. Issues: -Left half a pound of nails around the yard. -They came back and picked up most -After the cleanup I still found more nails under my truck. I was actually parked on a strip of 3" Pneumatic nails. -They fell through the garage roof. I'm not sure how but they fixed that. -We had them back to fix the Eaves trough after I hounded them. -The down spouts drained right into the basement. They installed ends to bring the water away after we called them back. -One of the elbows & down pipes were installed improperly with the down pipe not sloping downward but upward toward the roof. The water was pouring out at that joint. They removed the squirrel egress cage from the roof then didn't seal the hole. This was the trough guys!! they left the troughs off while gone for a day & the hole was left open after the job was completed! The Squirrels got back in.. Now they wont get back to us about hiring back the exterminators! So now we have to deal with pest control again!!! "900.00" All in all disappointed. To be fair though, you can expect the same from most companies now. Standards are below grade now.

  After several phone calls were made to get someone to look at the job, a person showed up and gave a quote. When we agreed to the quote via email there was no response. Emailed again and no response. Going to go with a more reliable company

  We are them for three time but they don’t communicate with us and we are deaf because disability are hurting us and we are not happy and they are disabuse communication texting us!

  Not worth it, try to find another roofer... they are not punctual they don't stick to deadlines. They promise " they will be there next week," but next week never comes, they quote you something they deliver something else. But they will blame the May storm in Peterborough as an excuse for everything, despite my job should of been done way before the storm... oh yes, and after all the mess and the bad service, and not completing everything they quoted, they expect to be paid in full and on time.

  We had ice storm damage to our cottage and although not devastating it required partial replacement. Nathan and his crew were in and out in less than one day. The colour match of the shingles was ideal and George did a final magnet search for nails when he picked up the bin. The work was completed in a professional and timely manner.

  Yesterday, in the late afternoon, an arborist discovered a 4 inch hole in our roof, made by an earlier fallen tree branch. The hole was right over our bedroom! After 5 weeks of drought, heavy overnight rain was forecast to start at 7:00 P.M! Anticipating a ruined bedroom ceiling, I called Feeney Roofing and asked a very understanding Paula for help... before the storm, if possible. She expedited my plea for help and a very able and well-spoken young man called Nathan showed up before the storm. He made an excellent repair that saved our bedroom ceiling, because it did rain all night! Feeney Roofing saved us both a lot of ceiling repair money and a bad night!.
