My review was removed from Google after my siding started buckling. I decided to upload it again since they removed it.. Do not sign a contract with this company One of the worst experiences ever. prices per square foot got raised after the initial project started. I was told that they could get it done in a month so I decided to still go with them because other companies were 2 months out. They ended up being 5 months late. Their billing was a mess after I paid the bills they sent. They sent me another bill and we’re trying to charge me late fees.. I asked to talk to the owner or a manager because of all of the problems he did not even read my email. He called quick and said he would talk to the salesman and never called me back and texted and said if I didn’t pay the bill, they would put a lien on the property.. would never work with them again. There’s lots of other choices choose better. There is garbage and nails all over my yard big ruts in my lawn that I will have to fill in with dirt and reseed and trim I was told would be put on was never put on

Hi Paul, we appreciate the feedback on your experience. We understand your points and have had numerous conversations with you about the project. At no time during those conversations were we aware of any workmanship issues and it seemed you were happy with it and still are. We never had any indication until this review that any portion of the job has not been completed. We understand the pile of garbage is frustrating - as the siding portion of the work was completed in the winter and the site was covered in snow, we had it on our spring cleanup list. We sincerely apologize this cleanup didn’t happen on an acceptable timeline for you. We have also reviewed the contractual agreements and must note that the work completed on your home involved an insurance claim from storm damage. Our billing to you matches the contractually stated prices the insurance company agreed was a fair price for the work completed. Your insurer determined the amount of the payout and they covered the bill for you. The siding portion included additional out of pocket expenses as you chose to replace all of the siding on your home and the insurance company only paid for half the house. This is all accurately spelled out on the agreement for the siding work. No numbers were adjusted beyond the contractual agreement. We understand that we were not perfect in the timeline for cleanup but are also understanding that you are happy you have a quality product on your home that will last many years. It sounds like we could have been a little clearer when explaining how the insurance process and payouts work, and that this may have created a better experience for you. We apologize that we fell short here also. Enjoy your new roof & siding – it looks amazing!

I would’ve loved to try and use this place But I was told it was a minimum $750 to come out for any repair. I thought plumbing house calls were bad, but this is outrageous. There wasn’t even a “can we come out and see what the problem is or take a look,” it was nope I just have to inform you if we’re coming out to repair the minimum is $750. I gave them two stars because at least they called me back and were honest with the cost upfront. Regardless, that is a very steep price when someone just needs a few minor repairs that they could’ve charged a few hundred dollars for and been done with it. It seems others have had better luck with this company so I would rely on their reviews. Regardless if you need repairs you may want to look elsewhere unless you know it’s going to cost at least $750.

Matt, thank you for your feedback—we do appreciate you taking the time to share it. We completely understand where you’re coming from. For smaller repairs, a minimum service cost can feel like a lot at first glance. We try to be as upfront as possible about that so there aren’t any surprises. Our minimum is based on the reality of what it takes to send out a trained crew, ensure proper diagnosis, complete the repair the right way, and stand behind it with our workmanship guarantee. While some repairs may seem minor on the surface, roofing issues often require more time and expertise to address correctly and prevent bigger problems down the road. That said, we know we’re not always the right fit for every situation—especially for very small repairs—and we genuinely respect that. We do appreciate you recognizing our responsiveness and transparency, and we’d be happy to help if you ever have a larger project or need a full evaluation in the future.

0 Stars — Extremely Disappointed with Fargo Roofing and Siding Fargo Roofing and Siding roofed my house on June 13, and the experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. During the project, they left part of my roof open while it was raining, which caused water spots on my brand new ceiling tiles. They did pay for that damage, but that was only the beginning of several serious issues. The project consultant, Ryan, told me the house “was not structurally level” or that my “fascia boards were warped” when I pointed out that part of the roofline didn’t look right. When Mike, a manager, came out to inspect the problem, he discovered that the drip edge had been installed on top of planter holders instead of removing them or asking me to do so. This caused the drip edge to sit unevenly and made the roof appear crooked — something that should never have happened if proper care was taken. They also left dark brown adhesive all over my white gutters, which took nearly two months to get repaired. On top of that, their delivery truck cracked my concrete driveway. When I sent them an invoice for the damage, they refused it and gave me just 16 hours’ notice before showing up and doing concrete work without my permission, even after they were told not to because I had other contractors scheduled who needed to use the driveway. Throughout the process, I was met with excuses, poor communication, and a lack of accountability. Despite their many good reviews, my experience was the opposite. I would never recommend Fargo Roofing and Siding to anyone — I truly wish I could give 0 stars.

We regret this experience was not what you expected from our company. We strive to always be at our best and sometimes things don’t go completely right. But we do always guarantee 5-star service, which means we own and fix our mistakes. We can definitively say our company made every attempt to make all facets of your concerns right. Upon difficulties in having civil communication (with your roommate as we got no communication from you regarding our attempts to make things right), we wrote you a check to cover your concerns and also offered to fix the other cosmetic issues on top of it, which in the end you both refused. Your roommate also requested an additional payment of $2,000 in lieu of replacing the drip edge as well as requesting the money for the repair invoice for the concrete company to be paid to you directly instead of fixing the concrete. The cosmetic issues of the plant holders holding the drip edge up was something that could have easily been addressed, however we typically do not start removing things from peoples’ homes without their consent. This was another area we offered to completely replace at our expense and were again refused by your roommate and were told no more contractors were allowed on your property. The concrete issue was caused by our supplier who took full responsibility to fix it at their expense. The logistics of this must always be coordinated with them as they hire the concrete company to carry out the repair. Unfortunately, your experience with them must have reflected on us. Again, we are very sorry for your experience and made every attempt to make this right. 100% of these issues could have been resolved with civil/rational communication. It is also important to note that we discovered your roommate works for a direct competitor of ours, which seemed to play a significant role in this process.

I hired this roofing company to assist with my insurance claim and repairs, but the experience was deeply unprofessional from start to finish. Paul, the representative assigned to my project, assured me he would meet the insurance adjuster at my home at the scheduled time. He never showed up and did not call or text to inform me of any delay or cancellation. When I tried to reach Paul directly at the number he provided (his cell number as he had assured me, to give me a peace of mind, as I am an elderly disabled veteran that needs assistance when it comest to these things...), I was actually routed to the main call center, which could not connect me to him or provide any meaningful updates. Over several days, I called multiple times seeking clarification, but the staff consistently failed to follow through or return my messages. This lack of communication and accountability created unnecessary delays and frustration. I felt completely disregarded as a customer. If reliability and professionalism matter to you, I strongly recommend choosing a different contractor. Based on my experience, this company has significant issues with follow-through and customer service and they do not care about the people they claim to serve. Needless to say, this may have cost me time, money and the claim overall! [Edit]: When “Accountability” Is Just a Sales Pitch: They claim they “made multiple efforts to address concerns and offer assistance.” In reality, there was ONLY ONE disingenuous call. It was the same as their response below...an attempt to gaslight me with a salesman rather than take ownership. They bragged about how great they are with “other people” while ignoring the actual problem. Something veterans know all too well. True accountability is not about saving face. It is about admitting mistakes, doing your best to make them right, and then moving forward. "Real integrity shows in actions, not excuses!"

Thank you for your feedback. While we regret that your experience did not meet expectations, we did make multiple efforts to address your concerns and offer assistance. Unfortunately, those efforts were declined. We understand that home repairs and insurance claims can be stressful, and our team genuinely tried to help throughout the process. We’re committed to professionalism and clear communication, and we take every review seriously—positive or negative—as a chance to learn and improve. We wish you the best moving forward and hope you’re able to find a resolution that meets your needs.

I called to set up a time for someone to look at a leak in my roof and one of their workers called me back and told me what the issue was without looking at it. He told me that I had to redo my whole roof and it would cost $17,000 and if we just wanted a repair done he wouldn't do it. He then gave me the number to another company but said they were shady and my best bet would be to spend the money. I had another company come out and they noticed it was an easy fix and didn't even charge me for it.

Representative made an appointment, I called for confirmation but he had to pick up his kid from daycare. Ok. Postponed for 3pm later that day. The rep forgot to reschedule! Called the next day to set a time, any time was good. No call no show. I wonder what the workmanship is like if they can’t even pull together a bid.

Oh My Gosh, certainly was not expecting this! Andy Sahlberg came out to inspect our roof as we were a little worried after the recent hail and wind storms this summer. I was expecting bad news, thought we would be pouring money into a new roof. Have heard so many horror stories of estimates for replacement whether needed or not. Andy was so polite & kind, got up in both the garage and the house roof, did the inspection, then came in to deliver the news. Our roofs on both the house and garage are just fine! Holy cow! Honesty and kindness?! Rare these days, I am almost disappointed that Andy and his crew will not be coming back to work here. I do know that if there are any issues down the road regarding roofing, Andy with Fargo Roofing & Siding will be who we call!

How a Single Hail Storm Creates Simultaneous Roofing and Siding Damage: Scope, Documentation, and Claim Strategy A typical Northern Plains hailstorm tracks from southwest to northeast, meaning west and south exposures receive the highest impact density on both roofing and siding surfaces. The roof takes perpendicular impact from stones falling at near-terminal velocity. Siding on the windward elevations receives oblique impact from stones driven horizontally by storm winds, with impact energy lower than the roof but sufficient to crack vinyl, chip fiber cement, and dent steel above the material's threshold. Documenting a combined event requires separate inspection protocols for each material and each surface orientation. A roof assessment that ignores siding, or a siding assessment that omits east and north elevations where secondary damage from storm turbulence occurs, produces an incomplete claim scope. Fargo Roofing & Siding conducts four-elevation siding assessments and full-slope roof inspections on every combined storm damage call, producing a single report that covers all exterior systems with material-specific damage documentation and Xactimate line-item pricing Jun 30, 2026
