  Things started out well, and work was completed satisfactorily. But then things got rocky, when an obscured service fee was charged for using a credit card. Communications resulted in a promise by DF to refund the $200+ overpayment, but we never received a check. Not even after 2 (now 3) follow-up contacts. Hate to go public, but this is not okay. Still waiting...

I’ve escalated your case to DF’s billing supervisor and we will prioritize processing the $200+ refund and confirm by phone or email within 48 hours.   Don't know. They never answered my two requests for estimates. Have gone to another company.

Our office and crews are doing our best dealing with the aftermath of storms and the numerous requests for service and quotes. We wish we could have gotten back to you in a timely manner and are saddened to not have you as a customer.

  Unprofessional with scheduling when workers would come. Last minute including day before calls to schedule workers. Workers arriving unannounced. Do not recommend them.

  Thank you for your review. We learned years ago to appreciate customer feedback and truly consider it a gift. Your feedback helps us know whether to keep things as they are or to make improvements. *see important information at end of response. Scheduling roof and solar work requires forethought and planning but is always subject to change as circumstances/situations arise. A customer's phone call or email cancelling work that day usually results in reassigning crews or a total reshuffle so workmen aren't sent home and other projects don't fall behind. Our operations team tries to fill openings as what was "confirmed" work is removed from the day's schedule. The vast majority of customers appreciate the option of having their project bumped up in the schedule. *This particular roof was completed and passed final inspection months ago. After the client was notified that payment was due and followed by multiple requests for payment, we were finally paid for the roof a few days ago... and then the 1-star review was posted. We had emailed the invoice 5 times to the same email that had been used to receive and pay the down payment invoice. There was no doubt that the roof had been completed months ago and that payment was due upon completion. It is not unusual to get a negative review from a client that takes so long to meet their financial obligations.

  Wednesday: Had a very informative discussion with Paul in the office re: my two minor drain leaks. Next Monday: Jessie and 2 experienced roofers drove up at 11:30am. Both leaks identified and fixed by noon! The time and materials billing was accurate and reasonable. My roof is ready for El Nino!

  Roof was over 15years old with many layers of foam that had many huge bubbles. They had to tear down one section and renewed it and all the rest. I have never had a nicer, more skillful, congenial, group of workers do a job for me as these guys. The result was gorgeous and will last for a long, long time. I highly recommend them!!!

  I had Durafoam recoat the flat roof on my Eichler home. Aside from a couple of weather related delays, this work was done in a timely fashion. Team cleaned up well after they were finished. Communication with office scheduling was good.

  Good quality, very pleasant people, fair price. Durafoam did our foam roof, then our solar and now a maintenance cleaning. Well definitely keep working with them

  Had our roof done in 2015, recoated as recommended in 2020. Just had them inspect it in 2026, and still going strong! Maybe a recoat in 2030-2035. But nothing needed now. 11 years on! Try to get that with tar and gravel! …

  DuraFoam installed a new foam roof for us years ago. After 10+ years, it was time to get a re-coat. Dura-Foam employees were prompt and we made it through this winter without any problems. We hope to get another 9 or 10 years of “peace of mind”.

  Writing this review about a year after Dura-Foam installed a new roof, solar panels, and whole home battery system for me. During the initial install, they were great to work with, showed up on time, and did the work they quoted, and kept the price they promised. Very professional, high degree of caring about the customer experience. Fast forward a year -- a panel they installed for me stopped working, but it was not covered by manufacturer's warranty. Dura-Foam stepped up and replaced the panel at no cost for either parts or labor, because they felt it was the right thing to do. This is a company with high integrity, and stands behind their services. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for either roofing or a top-notch solar / batter installer.
