  Had a roof installation, soffit and fascia installation done by this company. Roof vents were placed haphazardly across the back of the roof, 5 on the right side of the roof, and then they installed two on the left side. Esthetically horrible, no to mention one vent missing that was quoted and paid for. Eavestrough has a huge buckle in it, allowing water from the roof to drip down between the fascia and eavestrough. And we still have what looks like about two bundles of off cut shingles and debris, nails lying around. So bad that we had started to clean up ourselves. Update: We have been informed by Done Rite Roofing that snow from a roof can dislodge a section of newly installed eavestrough. And site cleanup is NOT included with their shingle installation. Attached picture is their repair of a two month old eavestrough installation, which we are now being told is NOT covered by their workmanship warranty, a copy of which we have never received.

  Hi Wally, I'm sorry you are unhappy with our service. We came in a rush in the middle of winter to finish a job started by other contractors and tried our best to accommodate and help you even though our crew was on winter break. A few points to note.. 1. Vents are installed where holes are cut by your carpenters. If not cut then they should be marked where you want them. We came back and fixed this issue for you even though the placement was not our choosing. 2. Eavestrough installed in minus 20 winter weather on a huge 80 ft run is bound to have some expansion issues. We informed you of that and are happy to fix it for you. Its covered under our warranty if that is the issue. However if caused by falling debris or other trades working on the home during construction it would not be covered under warranty. 3. Ground cleanup was not charged to you because it can not be done properly when there is several feet of snow surrounding a new build home. Spring is the best time to tidy up an active construction site. We could return at a cost with our bin should you need assitance. 4. Please be fair and revise your review as these issues noted are all fixable with conversation and understanding. Please call or email our office to discuss.

  So sorry you feel that way about our service. Communication is key for us in life and in our business. We did come to the first meeting on time as agreed upon and nobody was home or answered our call, after 15 mins we left and messaged to reschedule. No problems or questions asked.. life is busy, we get it. We agreed for the next day after work finished and again we messaged that day and didn't get a reply but to cancel, we actually thought you had made a mistake because it was so surprising to us. I don't think we could have done any better communicating each day and trying to accommodate your schedule with ours. We are a reputable family business and have lived here our entire lifes.   Trustworthy and very competent. I would recommend and use them anytime. Jeff replaced our roof, soffit, fascia and eavestrough and left the place spotless.

  DONE RITE ROOFING: When I first bought my home (built in the 50s) four years ago, I needed my garage roof redone as it rained inside the garage nearly as much as it did outside. I hired Done Rite Roofing (DRR) for the job. After getting a lower than expected quote, we scheduled the job for a day when I was at work. What I came home to that afternoon was a new roof (that has never leaked since) and a surrounding work area that was cleaner that when they arrived. So, when the March ice storm brought trees down on my house roof, I knew I wanted DRR for the job. Once again, they were affordable, on-time, tidy, and left me with a beautiful roof that my neighbour even texted me about to say how much better it looked than my previous shingles. Agreed. Thus, it should be no surprise that when I found out DRR offers other services as well, I have chosen them for my deck replacement (more storm damage). The reason why they are my go-to home needs business? 1.PRICING: has always been lower that what a Google search predicts. 2. QUALITY & WORKMANSHIP: three years in from the garage roof and no issues. New roof looks amazing. 3. NO TRICKS: at no point in time did they come back to me and try to make me pay more for something not agreed upon in the original quote. 4. NO PRESSURE QUOTES: when they draft the original quote, they give you pricing for anything you request. However, any issues, concerns, or recommendations noticed during the site visit are added in a separate section to allow you to consider other options. When I opted out of most of suggestions (this is a short term home investment for me) the only comment was, "No problem. We will get the new quote out to you and move forward with booking your appointment. 5. TIMING: They managed to fit me in within three weeks of my request and showed up to do the job on the same day. While I recognize that timing doesn't always allow such a quick turnaround, I appreciate how professional DRR is in attempting to maintain

  If you want your roof DONE RITE…this is definitely the company you want to call…I cannot say enough good things about them. From start to finish they have been exceptional. We had our roof, soffits, fascia and eaves replaced on our house and shop, it was a big job. Jeff and his crew were here for over a week, they are so professional, punctual and the workmanship is simply outstanding. Lindsay was also a pleasure to deal with - her estimates capture everything, these guys are so detail oriented they didn’t miss a thing plus communication was beyond impressive, they let us know what was happening every step of the way. I highly recommend them, you won’t be disappointed!!
