DADS Roofing

The only one or two-star review we hold for DADS Roofing.

Very professional on the phone but like most companies in this area they make appointments they can’t seem to keep. Jerry made the appointment and specifically said he would be the one to show up, then I receive a call from Judd saying that Judd can’t make the appointment. It’s bad Customer service out of the gate. How can I be expected to move forward with a company like this. Unimpressed considering they left the flyer asking for my business. 😂 To clarify your response, your guy only showed up after this review was left.

According to our records we were there and on time. You had one shingle damaged, over all roof was in great shape. I sent you a photo report showing you everything to your email address. We are not sure what else we could have done.

I was having a roof leak coming from one of the ventilation pipe boots and Jerry came out and took care of it On very short notice and they did a great job, it didn’t have underlayment under it and they made sure to get some of that down …

Peggy, thank you so much for this. I know Judd and the crew will really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We’re proud of the work they do and especially glad to hear everything went smoothly and your new roof turned out so well. It means a lot to us when homeowners trust Dad’s Roofing with something this important. We are trying to sell our house and have used judd before to do some repairs. During our inspection it showed a few roof tiles missing. Judd, who is about 4 weeks out in jobs, came over right away and replaced our tiles just like that and didn't charge us a thing. Now, I know that's not normal, but people who want to give great service over a price are amazing and unfortunately are very few and far between. We hope his business blows up with people who want to use him! I know we always will!

  Reply from the business

Katie, this truly meant a lot to our team to read. We know how stressful the inspection process can be when you’re trying to sell a home, and we were just glad Judd could step in quickly and take care of those missing roof tiles so you could keep things moving forward. At Dad’s Roofing, we always try to take care of folks the way we would want our own families taken care of. Whether it’s a small roof repair or helping during a home inspection, showing up when people need us matters. We’re wishing you a smooth home selling process ahead and hope everything comes together just the way it should. Your encouragement and trust in our local Gulf Coast roofing team truly means a lot to us, and we’re always here if you need us. Thanks again for taking the time to leave such a kind review!

I was in the market of trying to find a reputable contractor to hire for installing a new roof at my home. I kept seeing Dad’s Roofing Contractor at quite a few homes in my subdivision at Glen Lakes Golf Club. I contacted them to give me a bid; as well as getting a few quotes from other competitors. My decision to select them was based on Integrity, quality of workmanship, years of experience and certified credentials. The price was perfect; the owner, Judd Furr explained the process and sequence of completion, warranty coverage, certificate of liability and proper documentation. The company came to my home in full force with a qualified and conscientious team. The work on my roof was completed in one day. Everything was left immaculate. You didn’t even know they had been there.! If you can find a quality contractor that does this, you should hire them..

Dads Roofing recently completed a roof replacement in Daphne, AL, upgrading this home from an older 3-tab roof to a new GAF Timberline HDZ architectural roof. We completed all local code requirements, including renailing the decking, taping deck joints, installing synthetic underlayment, proper nailing, new drip edge, and peel-and-stick starter. This home also qualified for a Fortified Roof, which may help save the homeowner hundreds each year on insurance. When Dads Roofing installs a roof, we do it right.Mar 20, 2026Learn more
