  My salesperson was Rob Mooney, which he lacked communication along with solving problems. Company lacked communication and job site management. First, I asked them to not place the material on my driveway as it is small and to put it on the grass. I came home and the material was on my driveway blocking my entrance. I called Rob and instead of solving it he thought it was not a big deal. I moved the material by hand off my driveway which is a workout. Luckily, I did as they brought the dump trailer and the material would have to be moved to get the trailer on the job site. Everything was a cluster and there no job site management. The only part of the job that went smooth was the sub contractor actually knew what they were doing when installing the roof. A few things here or there, but they were easily fixed. Then the dump trailer was left on the job site, and I did have to call them a day later to get it removed. My experience was the communication with salesman Rob Mooney and the company is lacking in all phases with Cypress roofing. They get an F. I had issues and they did not solve them and rather argue that it is everyone else's fault but theirs. They get an F- Jobsite management of material delivery, setup, and getting equipment off the site is not there. There really is none F-. Subcontractor getting their the day of the job, putting on the roof, and them cleaning up the job. They get a B as there was shingle marks on the siding, had to hookup vents, and minor things the crews missed. This should have been caught if a project manager was on site. Still not a big issues. The big issue was lack of any management of the project and communication. If I did this again I would go with another company.

  I had Cypress Roofing come out and give a estimate on my roof. After the guy told my wife 10 times this is not a contract (that was a contract) she signed it because she thought it was a estimate. Well I didn’t use them because they were too high on the quote but that’s when they told me it was a contract. Long story short I had to settle to pay them for no work they performed. Please read the very small fine print on there paper work because they have on there you will pay $5,000 by signing this contract if you don’t use them. Also they have the court house with the address in Baton Rouge where they will take you to small claims court. So please be careful using this company!

  In order to get a quote on a roof replacement after hurricane Ida Cypress wants to know how much the insurance check will be. They would not send a guy to quote my roof without me emailing them what the insurance would pay for it. This type of pricing should be considered a scam and is an unprofessional way of doing business. Why does it matter how much my insurer will pay for a roof? No way your quote needs that info nor should you base pricing on what that amount will be. I need a roof not someone trying to skirt around giving an honest quote. Shame on y'all for doing business like this.

  I have been helping a friend with trying to schedule an estimate for repairs on her roof and she received the name of this roofer from Angi (previously Angie's List). Angi had them listed as a 5 star rating and google list them as 4+. What I can't overlook is that she has made 2 appointments with this roofer for an estimate, both times they were a no show after waiting an hour. If they were running behind or caught in traffic, a phone call would have been great. Yes, I was with her both times they were supposed to show up for the estimate. Communication is seriously lacking with this company. When she called after the first no show she was told that she was not even on the schedule to have an estimate the previous day, but they had her address. They asked for another chance, so she scheduled another appointment for an estimate. They were a NO SHOW yet AGAIN! Excuse after excuse and lack of communication. Such a waste of gas, time and energy for a company that is supposed to have 5 stars! SHAME on you for doing this to a disabled older woman or anyone!!! SKIP THIS COMPANY!!!

  Customer be aware! Was told by there sales rep they would tarp my roof for 500 dollars after hurricane Laura in Lake Charles and 2 weeks later they sent me a bill for over 2250 dollars.

  I can’t say enough good things about Dane and Alexandra Carmouche with Cypress Roofing. From the very beginning all the way through the end of the insurance process, they were there every step of the way and did a phenomenal job helping me through everything related to my full roof replacement. What really meant a lot to me was how much they truly cared. Dane even came out and tarped my chimney when a storm was coming through to help prevent water intrusion while we were still waiting on the insurance claim to be finalized. That kind of service and personal attention is hard to find. Not only did they do a great job, but I also truly value the friendship that came out of this experience. They are good people who genuinely care, go above and beyond for their customers, and make a stressful process much easier. I’m very grateful for everything they did and couldn’t have asked for better people to work with. I highly recommend Dane, Alexandra, and Cypress Roofing to anyone needing a roof replacement or help navigating an insurance claim.

Cypress Roofing did a great job navigating all the obstacles I faced to ensure I got a new roof and gutters too! My roof is beautiful and it has elevated the beauty and look of my home!   I enjoyed working with Rob. Rob stood behind everything I asked him to do. There are many roofing companies out there but to get a salesman that stands behind what he tells you is priceless. Rob was here almost the entire install over seeing.
