Never returned our call as they say they would

Kevin did a great job selling his services to us and we were excited to get our roof done and even though the quote was on the high side he seemed confident about the job. It’s too bad he never showed up to complete the work. After saying they’d be starting in a week he completely ghosted us and never responded to our messages. We put off other companies because we thought Kevin and his team would be completing the work. Now after waiting months we are now back contacting the other companies we got quotes from. What a waste of time.

Last winter we experienced a leak near the chimney; called Kevin and he showed up first thing the next morning( we live in Qualicum Beach) and fixed the leak immediately. . He did say that the roof was nearing the end of its life and would need replacing. Fast forward six months we called Kevin to have our roof replaced. He assisted us in choosing the right colour for our home and gave us his quote for the work to be done. Told us he would be here early in the morning and they were here and began work immediately. His crew were very courteous, kind and very professional. They tidied the area ineach day after they were finished. We were extremely happy with the colour chosen and the end product. It really made a difference to the look of our home. So thank you so much to Kevin and his crew for all their hard work and professionalism. We will definitely refer him to our friends and family.

We had a small roof leak and had a local roofing company come in and repair the leak. We were provided the “fear” tactics that the roof needed immediate replacement or we would incur major mould damage. After contacting 6 roofing companies in the Cowichan Valley area, only 2 responded with quotes for a new roof. Kevin of Cowichan Valley Roofing insisted meeting at the house where he did a complete inspection and noted that the roof did not need immediate replacement but was on the “edge” of needing replacement and that it could last another 2-3 years. He clearly explained what caused the leak (poor air vent installation), what would be replaced if his team installed a new roof as well as answering all of our questions regarding best shingles, colours, flashing etc. Once we decided to move forward, he provided a detailed quote and a date as to when the new roof could be installed. His well-experienced team completed the roof based on his estimates providing a professionally installed roof. In terms of customer service, managing expectations and professional / honest service, Cowichan Valley Roofing is definitely recommended.

Kevin and his crew repaired our leaking roof in 2021 and were wonderful. They were professional, punctual and great with communication. Last week we had a leak in one of our out buildings and called Kevin. He came the next day and fixed the leak, which was the result of a popped screw. AND, he didn't charge a thing! We are so impressed with Kevin and his team and will definitely be hiring them again when we undergo planned renovations. Thank you Kevin!

Although it is not in my budget to hire Cowichan Valley Roofing at this time I must say that I was impressed with Kevin, the owner and his customer relation/customer care service.
