  We had Chicago Roofing Solutions out to replace our roof. At the first rain after the installation, a leak developed in the wall immediately under the new roof. When they came back out, they said it wasn’t their fault and I’d need to pay for a contractor to come out, open the wall and determine the leak. Two independent contractors identified it was because Chicago Roofing Solutions didn’t properly seal the new roof to the scupper box, resulting in thousands of dollars of damage. They refuse to reimburse for the damage, actually gaslighted me saying it was my fault for bringing in a contractor and stopped responding when trying to discuss the situation. They were fine until something went wrong and then it cost me thousands for their mistake.

  Our HOA used CRS in May 2018 to essentially perform a full roof repair (in 2 stages). Per our contract, the work is supposedly under warranty until May 2021. We had a leak last year and they claimed that it was not as a result of their work and they were not obligated to fix it. We provided their explanation to at least 5 other roofers and none agreed with CRS. This year we had a roof leak on February 18th. We called and sent an email to CRS noting that our warranty is still valid and we needed someone to come out. After 2 weeks, we have still not received a call or email back. I'm sure they're busy but I refuse to believe that this is acceptable. Clearly a warranty on $15k of work from CRS means nothing. Do yourself a favor and find a company that will stand behind their work.

  John came out and took a look at the roof. He said it can be repaired whereas other companies wanted to replace the entire roof. Never got back to me after 3 attempts at trying to touch base for estimate. We were definitely going to hire them for the job.

  Contacted Chicago Roofing Solutions for an estimate two times. First time John never returned my call to schedule an appt. I called again, because they had good reviews and I really wanted their input. This time John scheduled an appointment, but never showed up. When I called to ask why the lady said the appointment was cancelled because of the rain. I am looking out the window as I am talking to her, it was overcast, but no rain...duh...other contractors have come on days that were overcast or even misty. If you're too busy or don't want to come to my neighborhood, you can say you are not available. It is very inconsiderate to have someone waiting (arranged schedule to accommodate John) and then not show up or even call. Very disappointed in Chicago Roofing Solutions.

  I recently called for an estimate about a repair/replacement project. I reviewed the website about their services including the service areas. Upon speaking with someone, I was informed that my residence was "too far south." and outside of their service area. I thank them for their time and reviewed the service area again. Their website clearly shows they cover a very wide territory including surrounding southern suburbs, and even the town of Joilet which is around 30-50 miles south of the city. Seeing as my residence is within the city limits, I have no idea why my address was considered "too far south". They may have great reviews about their work, but they're selective about where they work and have no clear explanation as to why you may or may not be their customer. I would only recommend reaching out to Chicago Roofing Solutions if you're willing to play the lottery on whether they'll actually accept your business.

In fact, our team was ready to make the needed repairs, but you decided to check around for better pricing which is, of course, your right. We have to keep our crews working and when a client refuses our initial estimate, they go into our queue for later service and are contacted as soon as our schedule allows.   Had a great experience getting a small leak repaired. John and his team were courteous and right on time. Great communication and worked with me to get the repair done on my schedule, even with a week straight of rain and storms. Highly recommend.

  We got some water leakage from our roof after the heavy storms last week and CRS came out the day after I called, gave me a free estimate, and we booked and had everything fixed within 5 days. Excellent to work with… will certainly be reaching back out should we have any other issues.

  I can't say enough good things about Chicago Roofing Solutions, especially John and his team. They are professional, responsive, dependable, and do exceptional work. What impressed me most was the time John took to truly understand my home instead of just fixing the obvious problem. Last fall, I called them because I had a roof leak that was coming into my living room. They repaired it, and the repair held up well. After a major storm, however, the leak spread to another area. Instead of simply patching it again, John took the time to do a thorough investigation. He carefully inspected the roof, documented everything with photos, and explained exactly what was happening and why. That's when he discovered underlying issues that had actually been there all along. When I purchased my 1920s Chicago bungalow two years ago, my home inspector inspected the roof with a drone instead of physically walking it. John found problems that the inspection had completely missed. He explained that these are the kinds of hidden issues that can develop on older Chicago homes and made sure I understood my options. The demolition was smooth, and when the job was finished, they left my property cleaner than it was when they arrived. That level of care says a lot about the pride they take in their work. It's hard to find contractors who are honest, knowledgeable, reliable, and genuinely care about their customers. If you're looking for a reliable contractor who stands behind their work and treats your home like it's their own, I highly recommend Chicago Roofing Solutions.

  Me and my brother just started working with Rob and we have to say that he is great. Usually working with roofing companies causes headaches but I look forward to getting a phone call from them! Definitely reccomend them for all roofing needs.

  We had a great experience with this team replacing our flat roof and installing new Trex decking. Everything went exactly as they outlined and quoted from the start, which we really appreciated. They worked efficiently whenever weather allowed and were very thoughtful about minimizing disruption—accessing the project from the outside of the building so our day-to-day routine wasn’t impacted much at all. Throughout the process, they checked in on key decisions and were flexible with small adjustments when we requested them. John, our main point of contact, was especially easy to work with—very responsive, communicative, and helpful. Overall, the entire team was professional, knowledgeable, and reliable. We’d definitely recommend them.

  George was incredible to work with from start to finish. He was timely, trustworthy, and made the entire roof repair process easy and stress free. I work with contractors all day in my professional life, so I have seen the full range from the great to the not so great, and George and his team are the real deal. After doing my homework and comparing several quotes, I found his pricing to be very fair and very competitive, especially compared to some of the less reputable firms I spoke with. He delivered exactly what he promised, and I had no issues throughout the process. I can finally sleep soundly knowing my roof is safe for the foreseeable future.
