Capital City Exteriors

The only one or two-star review we hold for Capital City Exteriors.

We requested an estimate to replace the roof on a small machinery shed on our property, with the aim of minimizing the costs since we plan on selling soon. We got another estimate for $1600, which a friend of our who is a general contractor said was way too high. "Joe", who came to evaluate the job a week ago, said that he would probably call me the following evening with the estimate. I never heard from him again, so today I called the person I had spoken to originally, and he said that Joe would send the estimate tonight. Capital City's estimate came to $9636!!!, which is frankly outrageous. Okay, I'm old school, and expect people to keep their word when they say that they will call, but even if that were overlooked, I believe Capital City Exteriors charges way too much, and that it knows - or should know - better.

Wanted to shout out Capital City Exteriors!! A Local Charlotte & Steele Creek Small Business! Working with Joe has been GREAT. Quick to come out and do an inspection. Quick to send the report and photo over to us. Educated us on how to start the claim process with Insurance. Joe scheduled himself to be at the house when the insurance adjuster came out and when the adjuster changed his scheduled appointment Joe switched his schedule to accommodate. The day of the replacement Joe was at the house at 6:45/7:00 to ensure that all was ready. The team worked quickly, efficiently and made sure to protect my garden. While replacing the roof they found tennis balls, nerf bullets AND water damage that no one was aware of. Again Joe & Capital City Exteriors responded with professional assistance & advice. The roof was completed in one day and the team worked until 7:00 to make sure the house and yard was picked up and clean of all debris. Thank You.

From the time I contacted Capital City Exteriors, they were professional and thorough. My roof was damaged from other contractors, and a portion needed to be replaced completely. They did an excellent job and had good communication on the schedule. The roof repair and the new roof area look great. Would definitely use them again.

Had Joe help with getting a attic vent installed on our high roof. The guys did a great job installing and sealing everything up, and appreciate the quick response and turnaround on the project.

If I could give them 10 stars I would. I was impressed with how professional, friendly and knowledgable the entire team was. My roof was done on time and most importantly they cleaned up after the project. I would highly recommend them to anyone searching for a roofer in North or South Carolina.
