  I used Big Al's back in 2019 to replace my roof and fascia. They were great back then. Mario and the rest of the team had great communication, worked with me on timing for different phases, and were always on-time. It seems their level of professionalism and common courtesy has declined since then, which is unfortunate. I tried getting ahold of them early August 2022, and was able to get in touch with the owner directly (still had his number from before) as I never heard back from their offices when I left voicemails or requested a call back through their automated process. I stopped trying to get them to come out mid-September once they missed yet another appointment to come out and see the rotting wood. I sent my final contact to Al both via email and WhatsApp with no response (tomorrow will make 4 weeks since that last communication). Again, they were great in the beginning but a challenge to get them to come out for any repairs to the work performed years later. ** update as per owner's response ** You did NOT ever state that there was any faulty installation from before. Further, you DID come to my home and DID have an opportunity to take photos...and you did not. After months of me trying to get you out to my property you FINALLY responded when I write my review regarding your failure to follow-up with me and my claim under the warranty. Then when you DID come over (the same day the review went up) you immediately took the position that it wasn't your fault. I shall be filing a complaint with the Dept of Agriculture and Consumer Services as well as consult with an attorney to address your breach of the warranty based on completely inventented hyperbole by you in this matter.

  Appreciate the review. When you first reached out about the issue and sent photos I mentioned to you it was because of the fautly installation on gutters allowing water into the backside of fascia and looking like a leak. Today after your lovely review I went ahead and confirmed that the leak in fact is due to the faulty installation of gutters DONE BY OTHERS. Their faulty work caused my fascia to show signs of leaks. You are trying to blame and get me to pay for work or cover something under warranty that is not my cause or fault. Wish I can add photos to show the area.

  Excellent Customer Service!!! Al came out same day with in an hour, did a full inspection on my roof no charge!! He was very honest and said I didn’t need a roof, he took his time and explained everything to me! Excellent service!! Highly recommend!! Thank you!!!

  I am not one to write many reviews; but when I do, it is because something really impressed me to the point of wanting and needing to give a shout out for that business. Not only that, but I also want to help other homeowners, like me, find a reputable, honest and hardworking roofing contractor amidst a challenging landscape of unreliable and unlicensed providers. This is my testimonial of an exceptional roofing experience. My roofing project was not simple nor small – it was a complete replacement of two large roof areas (the main house, and the guest house), plus the roofs of a doghouse and a pool pump shed. I did my homework and had three of the most recognizable roofing companies come out and provide me with a quote. Neither of them was able to properly address my most concerning issue of insulation in open ceiling areas and some other technical issues I had around the perimeter. Through a coincidence, Alvaro Hernandez, the owner of Big Al’s Roofing LLC was sent my way, and he literally was the answer to all my questions and concerns. His extensive knowledge and clear understanding of the necessary work immediately put me at ease. I received a quote quickly, and he was very professional and thorough in explaining every detail and answering every question I had. His demeanor was always good-tempered and humble. I was particularly impressed by his responsiveness; whether by text, email or phone, he always responded quickly. This is very important to me, and a rare quality among contractors. The roofing project started on time, progressed smoothly and exactly according to the timeline Alvaro provided.   We hired Big Al’s Roofing to replace the roofs on both of our warehouses, and overall it was a really solid experience. They were easy to work with, showed up when they said they would, and kept us in the loop throughout the job. The crew worked hard, stayed organized, and respected the property, which we appreciated. No runaround, no surprises, just good work done the right way. I’d definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone needing a reliable roofing company.
