The critical reviews

The one and two-star reviews, first. These are what a star average hides, and they are the reason this page exists.

We hold no one or two-star review text for BHP's Siding Contractors. That is not the same as there being none — it means our capture did not reach any. The rating breakdown above is Google’s own count and is the number to go on.

First time meeting them for the estimate they were straight with us about what the full job would cost and how long it would take. No pressure at all. Once they started the crew moved efficiently and kept things organized around the property. We had the entire house resided and the quality of the finish work really shows, especially around the trim and corners. The final result is a home that looks completely refreshed. Everything about dealing with them was easy and the outcome speaks for itself when you pull up to the place.

We kept getting a long running issue with woodpeckers tearing into old cedar sliding and water finding it way behind a pew panels BHP dad a full tearoff and put up Hardie which the birds can't damage. Also replaced the north wall . Problem permanently solved as far

We dealt with wood siding from the original build in the 80s and it was failing in multiple spots. Paint wouldn't hold, a few boards had rotted through near the ground, and a windstorm last year took off a chunk by the chimney. We knew it needed to be fully replaced but kept putting it off because the idea of dealing with it was overwhelming. BHP made it about as straightforward as something like this can be. They came out, walked the whole house, showed me exactly where the problem areas were including a couple I hadn't noticed, and laid out what the full James Hardie replacement would cost. No partial fixes were offered which I actually preferred because patching old wood siding is throwing money away. The work took about nine days. All the bad spots are gone, no more rot, no more loose boards in the wind. House feels solid again.

Great experience start to finish. The estimator wasn't pushy, the install crew worked steady, and the cleanup at the end was thorough. We had compared a couple of quotes from outfits around Arlington Heights before going with BHP. Six days of work and the house looks like a totally different place

Was searching online for companies that only do whole house siding and theirs kept coming up. The guy who came out to quote ended up being the same one running the install, which made things easier because I wasn't re-explaining anything later. About three between signing and the start date. The crew kept a steady pace, told me what they were doing each morning and finished on the date they originally said. Hardie paperwork showed up in the mailbox about a week later.

Didn't waste our time with back-and-forth. Pretty straightforward compared to some other contractors we've talked to around Prospect Heights over the years. Siding replacement turned out well and the crew stayed focused.

our old siding was looking rough and we started reaching out to a few companies for quotes. BHP was one of the first to actually get back to us and set up a time to come look at everything. they walked through all the options, we went with james hardie because it just made more sense long term. scheduling took maybe two weeks from signing which wasnt bad at all. the install itself ran about a week, the crew was there early every morning and stayed til the job was done for the day. house looks completely different now in a good way, really clean lines everywhere.

Pricing was fair, communication was clear, and there were no surprises. BHP's Siding really earned my trust with this project.

If replacing your siding is one of the projects you want completed this year, August is the time to move it higher on your list. A complete siding installation takes preparation, and starting early gives you the flexibility to choose materials and design details carefully while coordinating an appropriate installation date. Waiting until fall is in full swing can make planning more difficult as exterior project calendars become busier and weather becomes less predictable. By beginning now, you can create a clear timeline and prepare your home for a whole-home siding replacement before colder conditions arrive. New siding will provide a complete exterior refresh while helping protect the property through the seasons ahead. Our experienced siding contractors are ready to help you evaluate your options, plan the project, and complete your replacement with professional attention to detail. Contact us today for a free estimate and get your siding project on the schedule before fall availability becomes more limited.1 day agoCall now
