Bambrough Renovations

The only one or two-star review we hold for Bambrough Renovations.

Siding fell down and I chased Matt for many months before giving up and hiring a real contractor to complete the job. The roof they repaired still has a leak. They did a bathroom reno and flooring put down. The tile ended behind the toilet, but not in the middle, not on the side, just behind & it was not quite level, with many different sized grout lines. The flooring had a piece not put in near the start and they never put it in, on a concrete floor. Tried to use Covid as an excuse but could manage to work elsewhere so really it's just plane bad workmanship and lack of responsibility or honour.

Our roof was in dire need of replacement. Was not looking forward to starting the whole process. My daughter and husband had to replace their roof after the 2022 windstorm and used Matt and his crew and were quite pleased with his work. …

Matt did a great job with our roof, flashing, cedar shake and some external painting. His price was good, and the work looks great. He updated us with pictures as he progressed and was also happy to answer questions and explain what he was doing along the way. Highly recommended!

Matt Bambrough and his company installed a new roof on our old Victorian house. They did an excellent job. The advice and service he provided was definitely above and beyond what we expected for a roofing job. I will definitely be hiring Matt again and would highly recommend him for any house renovation work. Thanks very much Matt!

Matt is knowledgeable and considerate. He made sure to ask as many questions as possible in order to ensure that we got exactly what we wanted. There wasn’t a single thing that we asked and he didn’t know the answer to. When the time came, Matt exceeded our expectations. I’d work with them again in a heartbeat.

Unlike so many companies that I contacted, they were responsive and got the job done expeditiously and with quality.

Very happy with his work and would definitely hire again. We had a big gaping hole in our soffit from the storm as well as some other minor roof damage. He fixed it and it looks brand new, and found other issues we couldn’t see, he was very thorough and professional. Great value for services too. Would highly recommend.

They worked very efficiently to put a new roof on our home. Good communication was also very much appreciated. They left our property clean and tidy and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I would highly recommend Matt and his team. They installed the roofing and siding on our new build garage. I was very impressed by Matt's design ideas, the efficiency and quality of the installation, their punctuality, reliability, professionalism and the cleanliness of the job site after each day. Thank you Matt and crew.

Matt and his team were the only roofers in town that answered our call and were able to find the time to help us out despite the heavy snow and rains we were having. We had a few leaks in the roof, needed a chimney brought down below the roof line, and needed new eavestrough. Matt broke down the cost for each of the services he was providing (roof, chimney, eavestrough) and only accepted payment for work that was completed as he had to come back another day to replace the eavestrough. Everything they were doing was clearly explained and he even had me come up to show me where the old roof was likely failing. So far, we haven't experienced any of the roof leaks from before and the eavestroughs/downspouts are working great. Matt and his team did their best to clean up despite the heavy snow and has insisted on coming back in the spring to ensure that no nails or other materials are left lying around. It's refreshing to find a contractor who cares about the quality of work they do and we won't hesitate to contact Matt for any future work we need done.
