Austin & Sons Roofers

The only one or two-star review we hold for Austin & Sons Roofers.

The listing has issues. If you call the 434 number you are actually being directed to Bumble Roofing of Richmond. I was so confused since when I booked initially it was never mentioned that the company was Bumble and not Austin and Sons. Bumble called later and mentioned their company name and I had no idea it was them I had actually booked with so I simply canceled the appointment. However I also am leaving 1 out of 5 because when I called back to discuss the listing issue and asked about Austin and Sons Roofing the operator said "Wrong Number" and immediately hung up and then BLOCKED MY NUMBER. LOL. That is simply ridiculous practice.

Austin & Sons Roofers brought shingle samples to my home ahead of the job so I could compare the color and make sure it matched the roof on my detached garage. That extra step made the whole roofing process feel easier and more organized. When the crew arrived, they carefully covered the windows, shrubs, and nearby landscaping before starting, which I really appreciated. I have had roofing work done before where nails, ladders, and debris caused problems, so it was great to see this team take roof protection and cleanup seriously from the start. My older home needed re-decking, and the crew handled that part quickly and professionally without cutting corners. They stayed on schedule, kept the work area neat, and the finished roof looks excellent. The shingles blend well, the workmanship looks solid, and the whole job gave my home a fresh, well-maintained look that fits nicely in Chesterfield. Overall, the service was smooth, timely, and done with real care.

i can’t say enough good things about Austin & Sons Roofers. A few days before the roof work started, ruben called to go over the plan, and the day before the job, he and edward came by to explain each step of the roofing process. They made …

After storm damage tore up my roof, i got several estimates, but talking with Edward at my kitchen table made the choice easy. Austin & Sons Roofers stood out because he was knowledgeable, straightforward, and on time. The materials arrived when promised, and ruben with the crew handled the tear-off and underlayment smoothly. They came back soon after to complete my beautiful raised seam metal roof. The whole roofing process was organized, the job site stayed clean and tidy, and edward returned for a final inspection to make sure everything looked good. Very satisfied with the workmanship, communication, and customer service. Highly recommended.

Austin & Sons Roofers did an excellent job replacing our roof and made the whole process easy from start to finish. They worked directly with our insurance company, explained each step clearly, and kept us updated the entire time. Josiah was especially helpful and even drove my husband and me around Chesterfield to look at other completed roofing jobs so we could choose the right shingle color with confidence. The roof installation was finished in just a couple of days, and the crew was polite, respectful, and hardworking the whole time. They protected the yard and landscaping with tarps, kept the work area organized, and cleaned up carefully at the end of each day. We were also very pleased with how smoothly the solar panels were removed and put back in place during the roofing work. Josiah stayed involved throughout the project, answered all of our questions, supervised the job, and made sure everything was completed the right way. He even returned later to double-check that we were fully satisfied, cleaned off the patio, and used a magnet to pick up any stray nails. The entire roofing experience was professional, efficient, and stress-free, and I would gladly recommend them to anyone needing a new roof.

Impressive roofing service. I had recently bought a house and found a roof leak, and it was hard to reach a roofing contractor who would even answer the phone, let alone inspect a smaller repair. Edward came highly recommended, picked up …

They did an excellent job on the full roof replacement, siding, and gutters on my home in Chesterfield. The before and after difference was amazing, and the new blue siding really gave the house a fresh, updated look. The whole roofing and exterior process took some time because insurance was involved, but the team stayed patient, professional, and focused from start to finish. Ruben and Edward were very responsive, helpful, and easy to work with throughout the project. They met with my insurance adjusters several times and used their roofing and storm damage knowledge to help make sure everything that needed to be replaced was included in the claim. I really appreciated how clearly they explained each step and kept me informed along the way. They also went above and beyond the original insurance scope so the finished roofline, siding, and gutter work would look complete and consistent instead of leaving parts of the home looking mismatched. The final result turned out even better than I expected. I would gladly recommend them to anyone needing roofing, siding, or gutter work because they were knowledgeable, persistent, and committed to doing the job right.

We run a small resale shop in Chesterfield and had a major roof leak that needed fast repair. We reached out for a roofing estimate, and within 24 hours the crew came by, inspected the problem, and got the leaking section of about 500 square feet fixed. The whole process was smooth, and the roofing team worked carefully despite windy weather. ruben and his crew did a great job, explained the repair clearly, and made sure the roof was sealed up right. i would highly recommend them to anyone in Chesterfield who needs dependable roofing work done right the first time. you can relax knowing your roof is in good hands.

Extremely happy with my experience with Austin & Sons Roofers. We had major storm and hail damage, and Josiah came out for a full roof inspection to check how serious it was. He recorded the inspection and emailed the video to me, which made it easy to see the damaged shingles and understand what he was pointing out on the roof. Not long after, he sat down with us and clearly went over the repair and full replacement options, helped us choose the right shingles, and explained the process from start to finish. The communication was smooth, the customer service was excellent, and the new roof looks great. The whole job felt professional, organized, and stress-free. I would absolutely recommend them for roofing work.

they truly earned a 5-star review. i could not have been happier with the roof replacement and the overall service. edward and his crew handled the full roofing job with care, from tearing off the old shingles to the final clean-up, and they finished in a very timely manner. this was my first major home repair project, so i was nervous at the start. after strong winds caused noticeable roof damage, i reached out for an inspection. edward responded quickly, checked the problem areas, and arranged a tarp right away to help prevent leaks with more rain in the forecast. that fast response gave me real peace of mind. he was also very patient while helping me understand the insurance process and roofing damage details. the crew explained the shingle work in simple terms, answered my questions, and made sure the property was left neat when the job was done. the new roof looks great, the workmanship feels solid, and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish. i highly recommend them for any roof repair or full roof replacement needs.
