  Stay clear of these guys. We certainly understand that roofing needs to get done and weather isn’t always cooperative so work commences early. Most of our neighbours have had their roofs replaced and it is normal to hear roofers starting work early in the day. However, 6:45am on a Saturday morning is a little much and a violation of our municipal bylaws which state that no work is to be done before 10am on a Saturday. This company has done ample work in Pincourt so we are pretty sure they are aware of bylaw regulations, but choose to ignore them. A bylaw officer did drive by to investigate. While I was speaking to the officer, the Foreman of AP Toitures used the opportunity to yell and insult me to the point the Public Security Officer had to tell him to stop… never once did the foreman take the opportunity to say “we apologize for the disturbance”. We will not be using them when it is time to replace our roof, nor would we recommend them to do work in your neighborhood!

  Hello Ms. Hill, we have taken note of your comment and apologize for the inconvenience. We are seasonal workers and are often caught off guard by the weather. We usually avoid working on weekends, but unfortunately, rain sometimes forces us to, especially when our clients are at risk of water infiltration. Our teams do arrive early to prepare before starting the work, which is completed in just one day. Generally, clients notify their neighbors, and people are very understanding. Regarding the regulations, we were certain that the work could begin at 9:00 a.m., which is the prescribed time in most municipalities. When the municipal officer you contacted arrived, we immediately stopped work. Because this was our first mistake in all our years of working in your municipality, the officer recognized our good faith and was understanding. We are very grateful to him. It is not the custom of any member of our team to shout or insult people. Please be assured that we will investigate this matter with the employee in question, and we apologize if you felt offended by the agent's decision. Once again, please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused by this isolated incident, as we would have preferred that you judge us on the quality of our company's work.

  My neighbor had his roof redone, and the workers came and urinated on our property next to my RV! They chose to park their truck so that it largely blocked my driveway, even though they could have easily moved forward without any obstruction. One of the workers blew the floating debris onto our property, smiling and clearly aware of what he was doing.

However, we want to reassure you that during the regular season our teams are equipped with portable toilets on trailers, which unfortunately were no longer available due to the weather. We deployed emergency teams following the December winds and tried our best to serve our customers. Since your neighbor was not going to be able to get through the winter with his roof, which was beyond repair, we had to urgently replace his entire roof. Our team went to install a new roof after a heavy snowfall, in freezing temperatures and during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, when it was impossible to have the same level of interior access as usual for the safety of both our customers and our employees. Furthermore, cleaning up after the roof removal is more difficult with the snow, and we are surprised and disappointed by your comment on this matter. We therefore invite you to contact us directly if any waste remains in the spring, and we will gladly come and collect it again. We are sincerely sorry if we have upset you, and please be assured that we take your opinion to heart, but rest assured that your neighbor is now free of any further concerns.

  Warning! This company overcharges for labor. I requested a quote in August 2019 (approximately $10,000) and another in June 2020 (approximately $19,000). What a rip-off! In these difficult financial times due to the pandemic, it's worth getting several quotes from other companies before signing with AP Roofing & Sons.

We pay close attention to all feedback from our clients and are very sorry that your experience was not to your satisfaction. First, you mentioned in your comment your quote from last year (2019) versus this year's (2020), as well as the price differences. However, we would like to clarify that the major differences you indicated do not reflect what we have on file for your residence. Nevertheless, we have indeed experienced several cost increases this year, which unfortunately have a slight impact on our rates this season, but our company has done everything possible to absorb the vast majority of these increases and remain just as competitive. Furthermore, we assure you that all our contracts, once completed, are honored and respected in terms of both price and quality of service. Regarding this precarious period due to Covid, we are all affected and experiencing the same uncertainties, which allows us to fully understand the reality of our clients. Therefore, we are doing everything we can to adapt to each situation; we have postponed some contracts scheduled for this spring to the fall for some who have lost their jobs, and we are offering financing plans for those who need them. Furthermore, we are not requiring any deposits, and in the event of cancellation, we have no termination fees. We want a relationship of trust without constraints for our clients. However, we share this concern and strongly recommend that you obtain several quotes and don't hesitate to ask questions before making a decision about your contractor. Roofing is a significant investment that should provide you with peace of mind for many years to come.   I can not comment on their workmanship, I can though comment on my customer experience. I waited for nearly a month for the contract, AP offered to winterize my roof before the snow fell... Well, November 12th, we received 20 cm of snow, my roof was not winterized, nor did I get a contract...... Terrible follow up... Will not recommend Peter, I am not disappointed with your quote, I am disappointed at the follow up you had with me. To respond and correct your comments, I received a quote on September 16th not the 11th, correct I agreed by email (On October 2nd) on the quote with the caveat that I wanted my cabano roof to be changed at the same time. In the same email, I asked, “Please get back to me and let me know the next steps“. I sent a follow up email on October 17th asking for an update on my quote, Alex called me on the 17th, and said he would come to my house and measure the cabana and provide an updated quote that I would SIGN! That is the last time I heard from AP. If I would have gotten the updated contract more promptly, I would have signed it and my roof would have been winterized… I tried to call you earlier but you were out of your office.

  I wish i could say the same as the others, unfortunately I did not receive the same service. The workers were good and efficient however the owner (Peter) verbally promised us that the bell tower of the property would be waterproofed with some type of weather stripping (torch membrane). Even when he came to collect the fees, he ensure my husband that it would last at least 5 years. Every time it rains, it goes through the bell tower and into the property. Instead of owning this and fixing it, we were presented with a 6 thousand dollar quote. I had been waiting for the owner for over a month and now he's giving me a 4 thousand dollar quote... . Picture below was taken with a Drone, looks like nothing was done at all. If I can recommend one thing, make sure their promises are on the contract.

  All I can say is WOW! The guys were amazing. worked in extreme hot weather and were cordial just the same. Very patient and the job was A1.... I would highly recommend them for any roofing concerns. They went above and beyond the job, as we discovered some issues we weren't expecting, keeping us in the loop all day. Amazing job everyone.   I don't give 5 stars easily. I can't judge the quality of their roofing skills. Joee, the assessor, came the day I requested the work. Extremely kind, without any flattery, he looked at my roof and told me it was still good for a few more years. He said it looked a bit silly because of the shade from my large trees. Indeed, I don't have any leaks. So, 5 stars for this honesty, which is extremely rare. And for their customer service.

  I just did my roof with them and I can say honestly that they are the dream team. When I was shopping for the best pricing for quality, Richard was thorough in his recommendations and didn’t make me wait like other companies did. When it was time for the installation day, Paul Jr and his team were spontaneous, organized and friendly.
