  Update: to specify, a Lindsey Buehlman with WMR followed up with me via email on Feb 26 to which I also have a SCREENSHOT of my reply and no further contact from this company after the fact. Also, how were we supposed to know they were a trainee when they didnt have a badge or introduce themselves as such. The gaslighting in your reply is a red flag for future customers. BE BETTER. The communication part is obviously what you struggle with per other reviews. Scheduled an estimate, they didn't show up. Someone finally called and showed up (a regional sales rep) with another random person who did not work for them. Spent about 5 minutes looking at the problem area I needed fixed, said I should see a quote by Monday. Monday came and went, I got other quotes. About a month goes by and I get a follow up email asking about my quote I never received. Advised that I never received said quote. They were apologetic and said they'd look into it (guess what, they didn't! Shocking!). I was promptly ghosted and went with another company because I can't wait around anymore. That's my experience with this company.

  Horrible quality and service. Our roof was $4,000 more than other estimates. The employees were rude and just horrible. Our roof starting leaking after the first snow thaw and they wouldn't honor their warranty. Gave all kinds of excuses …

  Post inspection review edit: Upon further inspection, our team's workmanship was completed to a high standard. The leak was created by large ice dam created by heating the un-insulated garage. This has also been confirmed by the insurance adjuster. We advised the homeowner that in the future they should break apart the ice on the garage before it forms into a large ice dam and causes problems. Original response: We are so sorry that this is the narrative you chose to share. After fielding multiple phone calls, and listening endlessly to your claim, we have an appointment scheduled with you to address this problem, again. While we have been straight-forward with you, by no means have we been rude or horrible, and we are truly sorry you feel this way. We have no problem honoring our warranty, once we are able to pinpoint what an issue is. We appreciate you taking the time to share your narrative.

  Had them out around 6 weeks ago. After 3 days of work they left and said they were done. Literally the next day the new roof started coming loose. They came out several days later to fix and said it was good to go. Then they randomly show up the next week and say they had to do something up there again. A week or 2 go by and an inspector shows up and says they missed stuff. Another day or 2 go by and someone comes out to "fix" the stuff that was missed. They were here for a hour or 2 and said they didn't have time to finish before the end of their day and nobody has been back since. Have made 2 or 3 calls to get someone out and it seems they are blowing us off. Was a very hefty price tag too.

  Disappointed. Communication on when job would get done was non existent. Took over 2 months to get scheduled. Needed one piece of fascia fixed in order to finish gutters and it took two weeks to get that done. Then tried to “sell” me on replacing half my roof even though it was just done. Based on one piece of rotted wood and even though asked they never looked further to verify if that work really was needed. Lost all possible trust. My gutter job didn’t seem important to them. Pricing was fair and sub contractor they sent was good.

  I went through 6 weeks of reasons why they couldn't come after I signed a contract and gave them a "good faith" deposit along with 3 dates and no shows. All done with these people!

  Kelly we sincerely apologize for the delayed communication. It took our team over two and a half weeks to get back to you, and that is unacceptable. Sometimes our warranty department has immediate availability, and other times there is a list of existing customer claims being addressed. That was part of what happened.   As part of gathering quotes for a new roof, Joe from West Michigan Roofing made the most thorough bid of all. He took the time to educate me, without being the slightest bit condescending. There were some complicated things about my roof, and West Michigan proved they had the experience to handle them.

  I had West Michigan Roofing do this project mainly because of their reputation, and how long they have been in business. The gentleman they sent out to talk through my options and handle the sales and project management side was another one of the reasons I gave them my business. Note they were not the cheapest but did a great job handle the project. The crew they hire was a great group of guys who were respectful to my property, did great work, cleanup well and finished in one day. All in all I am satisfied with their work. If something should arise in the future most likely they will still be around to warranty their work.

  We are more than happy with our new roof and skylight installation. Kevin was very thorough and explained the process, answered all of our questions and provided us with the Smart Vent idea to help our ventilation issue. He is an excellent representative for West Michigan Roofing. The installation crew was incredible. They were prompt, polite, clean, friendly, and took great care to ensure the least amount of damage to the landscaping. This is greatly appreciated. We would absolutely recommend West Michigan Roofing.

  West Michigan Roofing was absolutely wonderful. Tony's crew came in on time, were very professional and caring, took very good care of everything too. Their cleanup job was great, the wonderful warranty and pricing were very competitive too. We would VERY HIGHLY recommend them! They reroofed the entire house, great job!

  Jeff Alexander was awesome. He was quite thorough and made sure we had all questions answered and thoughts acknowledged throughout the process. The guys did a great job and had the project done a half day sooner than anticipated. Highly recommend working with them if you’re in need of a roof.

  Just had our roof replaced by WMR! It was long overdue, but they were still able to knock it out in a day and did a fantastic job! Hardworking crew, good communication, and follow through. Very happy and would highly recommend them for your roofing/construction needs!
