I called Weatherguard after finding them in my community magazine and doing a bit of research. I'm quite surprised at all the positive reviews. This was certainly not my experience. To be clear, I did not hire them for the following reasons. George came out on 5 Oct and gave me a verbal estimate of $3,750 to paint the exterior of a 1,215sf single story home. He said that included the highest quality paint. I inquired about a mid-range quality paint and George told me I would only save $300-$400. He said he would send me the quote the same day and I told him there was no hurry, to take the weekend and send the quote on Monday, 7 Oct. Today is Wednesday, 9 Oct and I have not received the quote. Then there is the price that George quoted. I got two other quotes, both of which were more than $1,000 less than George's quote for the same SOW and high quality paint. George spent a good deal of time telling me that he's done a lot of paint jobs for the 'who's who of Vegas'. Of course, that meant nothing to me and I told George that I don't have the same budget as the 'who's who of Vegas'. He went on to tell me that he lives in the Scotch 80s, which if you don't know, is one of the original high-end neighborhoods of Old Vegas, with higher priced homes. Again, meant nothing to me other than his high quote might be necessary to pay his bills - he also arrived in a Tesla, which he pointed out to me. Bottom line: I found George to be unreliable, overpriced, and a bit braggadocios. I cannot speak to the quality of his work. I spoke with someone in my community who has the same house as me and used a company that charged $2,000 five years ago and the house looks fabulous. The same company gave me a quote of $2,300.

Poor customer service. Forced to redo review. Paint was not the color we talked about. Door painted shut, furniture left outside that they moved out. Hidden items they couldnt find. Left a mess.

Weatherguard and George are the Best. George was the only painting contractor in Las Vegas that responded to our initial contact within 24 hours. Some haven't responded yet. He was at our home within 20 minutes of his response, guided us towards a much better color scheme than we had selected. He really knows his colors. His crew was on time and repainted every inch of our 3,300 square foot home in 3 days. They were very responsive to our requests and really seemed to take pride in their work. The quote was better than I had expected and was worth every penny. Most importantly though, my Wife says "If we ever need anything painted again, We will call George". That's high praise. Go with Weatherguard and you won't go wrong.

George and his team are true professionals providing the highest quality workmanship. Super responsive, quick quote, top notch work and service. They power washed the house, moved the gravel away from the foundation, caulked, repaired stucco, took down the solar screens and outdoor nick-nacks. They moved all the outdoor furnature, taped and protected the paver driveway and patio, cameras and trim. They started early in the morning and were done before 4pm. George (the owner) came by, inspected the work and made sure we were 100% satisfied before accepting payment. If you ever need painting, I highly recommend Weatherguard Construction, give George a call...you'll be thrilled that you did.

I called to schedule an estimate with George and he came to my house the same day. He and his crew had an opening and worked on my roof. They were very respectful, prompt and took care of everything that needed to be repaired. I would highly recommend them to anyone that I know.

Old leaking tile roof. George showed up on time and gave thorough competitive bid. His crew is excellent, very knowledgeable and clean. He also has a very good concrete crew as needed small concrete job. I give the highest praise to George and his various crews. He is very good at follow through and has been a contractor for many years, i.e., extremely knowledgeable on anything regarding roofing, siding, concrete, painting, special coatings and more. I highly recommend him as he is extremely trustworthy...very important to me!

Needed a new weathering layer on roof and repair to tiles after a wind storm. Contacted George at Weatherguard. He came out the same day to do an estimate and did a very good job on my roof once contract was agreed on. Would definitely recommend.
