  I called Watkins for an estimate on a replacement on my roof. The woman that answered was fantastic. I saw the great reviews and her service was so great. Being optimistic, I made an appointment for them to come out and give me an estimate. The man that arrived seemed less than interested to be bothered with this. He shut down when he heard what insurance company I used. He gave me a quote of more than DOUBLE the amount out of 4 local roofers also with very good reviews. Wish he had just told me he did not have time or want to do the job. I had to take off work to meet this guy. And it was pointless. My insurance approved the replacement a week later and B&A Roofing did a 5 star job just a day ago. I hate to leave this review but shop before settling with this company.

  Gabe at Watkins Construction was decent to deal with, but we faced several hurdles. His initial estimate for our 4,000 sq ft roof missed a lot of required decking, adding an unexpected $10k. Gabe did compromise by lowering the added decking cost to $6k to help correct his mistake. Financing options were also incredibly slim, but Brittany from their team was a big help, and my wife Anna and I secured a plan by putting her on the loan. I appreciate the office team's effort to help us sort it out, but it was a stressful experience overall. However, the absolute best part of the experience was Grady and his crew. Despite all the administrative and financial hurdles on the front end, Grady and his team came out and blew us away. They worked incredibly fast and hard to complete this massive job. Their work ethic and craftsmanship were top-notch, and they are the main reason this project crossed the finish line successfully.

  Communication from the Staff at main office and field reps (Stephanie & Ethan) was timely, courteous, and helpful from first contact. Great communication and updates up to date before install day. Day before scheduled installation, received communications from assigned Project Manager (Grady) letting us know what time he and his crew would be arriving. Arrived on time and began work immediately. In at 7:00am and completed by 5:00pm with tear out, replaced some decking, and new shingles installed. Grady and his crew were very professional.
