United Developers

The only one or two-star review we hold for United Developers.

They did a good job with my roof (no leaks that I can tell) but when I called them about a portion of the newly installed roof by the gutters that had separated a little bit from the gutters they ignored all my calls and emails. If you need more than a brake light warranty from your roofing company, I would not recommend this company.

  Reply from the business

Austin, thank you for the honest feedback, and we're sorry - a warranty call that goes unanswered is not the standard we hold ourselves to. The separation you're describing at the gutter line is exactly what our workmanship warranty exists to cover, and we want to make it right. Please call (240) 880-2108 and ask for the production manager, or email Office@udroofing.com with "WARRANTY - Austin Chang" in the subject line so it routes straight to the top of the queue. We'll get a crew out to inspect and correct it at no cost to you. We stand behind every roof we install - including yours.

Our roof has held up very well especially after the stormy weather and hot sunny days we have had in the Silver Spring area.

  Reply from the business

Thank you, Terriza! Silver Spring has taken a beating this summer between the storm cells and the heat, and that is exactly the test a roof is built for - proper underlayment, sealed nail line, and ventilation that lets the attic breathe so the shingles are not cooking from underneath. Glad yours is holding. If you ever spot a lifted shingle or a stain on a ceiling after a big storm, call us at (240) 880-2108 and we will come look at it, warranty or not.

Safaan has really help me beyond belief on getting my family’s roof fixed he’s been a great help and someone who knows what he’s doing 10/10 we plan on having them do our bathrooms next!

  Reply from the business

Arjun, thank you - Safaan will be glad to read this. Getting a family's roof handled properly, especially when there is a claim involved, comes down to documenting the damage right the first time so nothing legitimate gets missed. And yes, we do bathrooms: United Developers is a Maryland-licensed home improvement contractor (MHIC #111971), so full bath remodels, tile, and the plumbing and electrical coordination that go with them are all in scope. Call (240) 880-2108 when you are ready and we will come scope it.

Fantastic work and service. Great crew and awesome work done.

  Reply from the business

Thank you, Manuel! The crew is the whole business - a good roof is really just good crew work done in the right order, and they take pride in leaving a property cleaner than they found it. We appreciate you taking the time to say so. If anything ever comes up, we are at (240) 880-2108, and our workmanship warranty travels with the roof.

  Reply from the business

Thank you, Clover! Safaan will be glad to hear this. Roof replacement is what we do best, and getting a home back to looking brand new is exactly the result we aim for on every job in the DMV. We appreciate you recommending United Developers to your friends and family - referrals from homeowners like you mean a lot to a family-owned company. If anything ever comes up with the new roof, call us at (240) 880-2108.

Safaan did an amazing job from start to finish. They helped me get my roof covered they are very professional and amazing 10/10 recommend

  Reply from the business

Thank you, Nancy! Safaan takes real pride in walking homeowners through the whole process start to finish, so this means a lot. For anyone reading: on a storm job we inspect the roof, document the damage with dated photos, and meet your adjuster on site - your insurer makes the coverage decision, but good documentation makes sure nothing legitimate gets overlooked. Thanks for the 10/10, and call us at (240) 880-2108 if you ever need us again.

They did an excellent job replacing my siding. It looks like a brand new house now.

  Reply from the business

Thank you, Derrick! Siding transforms a house faster than almost anything else we do, and "brand new house" is exactly the reaction we work for. Enjoy the new look - and if you ever need the roof, gutters, or windows brought up to match, you know where to find us: (240) 880-2108.

Kevin and United Developer did a great job with our roof replacement. The entire process was smooth and transparent and will highly recommend to anyone.

  Reply from the business

Thank you, Prasad! Kevin runs a tight process, and smooth-and-transparent is exactly how a roof replacement should feel - clear scope, clear price, no surprises. We appreciate the recommendation, and we're here at (240) 880-2108 whenever you or a neighbor needs us.

United Developers were very impressive from the beginning to the end. They worked with our insurance company from the start by resubmitting photos to the insurance company and the codes for materials for our county.. They kept in touch with us through the whole process and went above and beyond by doing extra finishing touches. I recommend them with 5 stars and more!

  Reply from the business

Thank you, Susan! Working directly with your insurance company from day one is how we keep storm claims from dragging on - documentation, adjuster meeting, and the build itself all under one roof. We're glad the whole process impressed you, and we're at (240) 880-2108 if you ever need us again.

Zach and crew installed my beautiful new roof per schedule, on budget and with great regard to my surrounding area. Zach was instrumental working with my insurance company; he met the inspector on site (even provided the access equipment), provided a thorough quote, provided counseling during the material selection process, oversaw the work (and clean-up) and promptly followed up with my insurance company to ensure there were no issues resulting in a prompt final settlement. The entire process was painless to me ! .. and for the cost of my deductible I have a new roof…. And a new friend.

Thank you, Douglas! On schedule, on budget, and a clean site when we leave - that's the standard Zach holds every crew to, right down to the magnet sweep for stray nails. Enjoy the new roof, and we're at (240) 880-2108 if you ever need anything.
