The critical reviews
The one and two-star reviews, first. These are what a star average hides, and they are the reason this page exists.
We hold no one or two-star review text for Top Roofing and Contracting. That is not the same as there being none — it means our capture did not reach any. The rating breakdown above is Google’s own count and is the number to go on.

Incredible customer service! This licensed contractor worked for 11 months with my insurance company to finalize all of the work. Insurance kept dragging their feet and he hassled them regularly to get this taken care of. Couldn't have handled the insurance company by myself. Super nice guy and the work was done quickly and well! Stayed in touch through the entire process and let me know what I had to do to get it through the red tape of insurance. Would highly recommend this company!!! Also had him install two solar tubes.

I agree with all of the previous reviews. Peyton went out of his way to satisfy my concerns. He is a great communicator, but we still had a miscommunication regarding my expectations and I inappropriately reacted. He immediately addressed …

Top Roofing did a wonderful job on our home repair. We had hail damage and Peyton was very thorough with his inspection and explained how Top Roofing could get the job done. He was kind and courteous to both me and my husband. The guys that replaced the roof and siding were very good and fast at their job. In the past, i did not enjoy construction chaos around me but this time it went better than expected and was done much faster. Thank you Top Roofing for a job well done, and thank you Peyton for keeping us informed throughout the process.

Top Roofing and Contracting did a super job repairing my roof. After removing the old shingles they discovered the roof decking was damaged and needed replacing. 29 sheets of osb! Peyton Crawford was extremely fair on pricing and I am very glad I called them. Very, very, highly recommended!

Extremely knowledgeable and responsive to calls. Fast. Fair and reasonable pricing. Able to quote accurately over the phone using satellite image. Peyton put a metal roof on my rental home in High Point. Upon deposit, I was quoted a few weeks (depending on material availability). The roof was on within a week. I’ll use them again.

Every figure above is Google’s, captured on 24 September 2026. The star average and the 44 ratings behind it are counted by Google across all of its reviews. The review text on this page is a sample — we hold 44, of which 40 have any text — and it is not everything Google shows.
