  We had our roof installed in August 2025. Within a couple of weeks, a shingle came loose. We contacted Shawn and were told the issue would be repaired, but despite numerous follow-ups over the following months, the repair was never completed. Since then, a second shingle has come down. We have repeatedly reached out, been given assurances that someone would come, and most recently were told the repair would be completed on a specific week. Unfortunately, no one showed up and there was no communication to explain the delay. What has been most disappointing is not the original issue itself, but the lack of follow-through on warranty service. We have been patient and have given multiple opportunities over the course of many months to have this resolved privately. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this company due to the poor communication and failure to stand behind the work after installation.

  Called him in to fix leaking skylight. Made a total mess. Black tar all over the place. The skylight leaked even worse after that. $ 250.00 down the drain. Called another company to fix it. They laughed at the work done by Top 2 bottom. Sky light never leaked again after the second company fixed it.

  Not sure you have the right company sir if we did do the repair and it still was leaking then there might of been another issue and you could of called back but im not sure you did

  I started the job by ordering the material and it was october by the time we got to your roof it was winter which i informed you the shingles wouldnt be warrantied so we agreed to wait until spring but you were a middle man and the roof was for someone else and they didnt want to wait till spring so i had to return the material to barrie for a 20% restocking fee and returned the rest of the deposit.

  Dishonest is too kind !! This guy took a deposit of more than $ 3000.00 over a year ago from my daughter and son-in-law. He did not do the job and has not refunded the deposit even after several conversations and text messages. Small Claims Court appears to be only alternative. " Response from the owner " is simply not truthful. A deposit of exactly $ 3277.00 was paid up front. Even though you stated in a response to another reviewer that money is never taken up front from customers . Promises were made verbally , by text and email by you for 11 weeks in a row that the job would be done. Thankfully email and text correspondence is all saved and printed. At one point you even promised a return of the deposit since you couldn't honor the contract. An honest business owner would have resolved the issue rather than have it come to this.

  We agreed to do the roof in the spring because you didnt want it done in the winter and now you got someone else and didnt follow through on our contract those are the terms

  We now have a construction lien and and a demand letter from a lawyer because Shawn Chenard did not pay his roofing supplier. We paid him thousands of dolllars and he did not use that money for our job. The review from S is from Shawn Chenard - the OWNER so not the most objective.

  We just got our roof done this past weekend. Shawn and his crew were very punctual, professional and great workmanship. Our roof looks great!! Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to get their roof done. Thank you

  Very honest, reliable and punctual. Returned my call within an hour and had a written estimate in less than a day. He also sent one by email with his workmanship warranty, wsib and all necessary documents. What impressed me the most is him not being biased towards women in the industry as he employs one. My wife couldn't wait to sign the contract quick enough. He was prompt, courteous and professional. He and his crew had my roof done in a day, I later learned he employs the 'Fastest gun in the North 2017 and the second fastest shingler stripper 2017'. I will recommend him to everyone.
