  We had the roof of our house redone in 2015 by Toiture d'Ici. They were supposed to install a membrane covering the entire roof, but this wasn't done. In addition, some shingles on the ridge have come loose, and other shingles have also come loose in strong winds. We have a steep slope and double-layered shingles, which require six nails per sheet. But there aren't enough nails; there are only four per sheet. We can see some sheets installed crookedly, and we also see several nails near the ridge.

  This is my second review of this company because, unfortunately, I deleted my first one due to their broken promises. I remain very dissatisfied with their skills and overall experience. Several months of waiting, poor communication, and other issues. I'm simply going elsewhere.

  Not complicated, no service. I dealt with Pierre-Luc. No follow-up. (June 14, 2022) Update: I spoke with two company administrators who explained the current situation I described here, and they seemed genuinely sorry. They demonstrated their eagerness to rectify the situation. This shows great professionalism and deserves my appreciation. Thank you! (October 13, 2022) Update: In the end, I didn't do business with Gouttières d'ici because the price was clearly inflated. I hired a company from outside the Saguenay region (but not far away) for about 60% of the price quoted by Gouttières d'ici. I also requested quotes from other contractors in Saguenay, providing all the details on their respective websites, but never received any response from them: Gouttières LF, Goutières Saguenay and Gouttières 2002. The only contractor who responded to me is not in Saguenay.

  After wasting an hour of work on the inspection to validate the cost of the required work, we still haven't received our quote several weeks later, despite numerous follow-up emails and phone calls. The assessor indicated a delivery time of approximately one day. It would have been more respectful to your clients to inform them that this wasn't a contract you were seeking. This demonstrates a serious lack of professionalism. However, the assessor who came to our home was pleasant and knowledgeable.

  I received a quote on Monday from Mr. Pierre-Luc, who was very professional. The follow-up was impeccable, both with the estimator and the project manager. My roof needed some repairs, and the price was reasonable for the work done. On Wednesday, the team arrived, and the work was completed very quickly and efficiently. They left my property clean and tidy, and they were very friendly despite the heat! That's why I'm giving them a 5-star rating for the excellent service I received. It's great to have a company that offers such good service to its clients. As soon as my roof needs replacing, I'll definitely use Toiture d'Ici again!
