  I would not recommend this company based on my experience. The project had multiple quality and oversight issues from start to finish. The crew damaged my driveway and culvert with a dump trailer, bent and damaged gutter guards during roof removal, and left exposed nails in the ridge vent. Clean-up was unacceptable—I personally picked up around 50 nails in front of my garage that should have been removed by the crew. That alone could have caused tire damage if missed. There were also workmanship concerns with the roof sheathing not aligning properly, leaving rotted wood and voids. The roof leaked near the door after installation. An unannounced crew was sent to my home who could not communicate in English, making it difficult to explain the issue. A second crew eventually came and attempted repairs. To their credit, they did ultimately return and fix the roof leaks and address the damaged gutters and guards. However, the number of issues, lack of communication, and poor attention to detail throughout the project made this a frustrating experience overall.

  2 bad experiences. First one a few years ago, patched the gutter which was poor wuality and didn’t work anyway. New owner, so tried again. Came for estimate, was told would be in touch by the end of the week and that was 3-4 months ago. Can’t remember it’s been so long. Will never contact again

  Thoroughbred sells themselves as a hometown crew, with your best interest in mind. After you pay half down a migrant crew steps in to do substandard work. After arguing half an hour about a fundamental mistake, and being told that they know better than you, they come back and put a bandaid on it instead of fixing it. Your interests are not priority, your money is. If you value your home and the loved ones it protects, I recommend you look at other roofers that won't sell you one thing then deliver another! Tim

  No complaints about the roof BUT they recommended Howards gutters. No problem with the gutters but they never said I needed flashing behind my gutters. They screwed the gutters into bare old boards and the boards are exposed to the weather on every corner about 4 feet on each side. Thoroughbred charged me $250 to fix the problem I saw. They were suppose to check all the guttering for more exposed wood. They came when I was out and fixed the two areas I had found. This week cleaning out my gutter I found all the other corners. I ll never recommend either one again. I have been trying to seal the wood myself. I'm almost 70. That should tell you something

We have reviewed your estimate & contract and appears your estimate was itemized showing the materials, labor, warranty, permits, ventilation inspection, quality control and the jobsite cleanup items. I also reviewed the contract for your work and it fully describes the demo & installation roofing process along with payment terms, terms & conditions, prestart checklist & the renovation day instructions for your property. We have read the emails from our estimator to you and it appears he only answered your questions and provided updated contracts to meet any requirements that were asked and the emails appeared very professional. If there is anything we can do to help or further clarify, please reach out to us and we will be glad to help in any way. We apologize for not setting and meeting the correct expectations for your home and we would appreciate a further clarification to help better the process.

  Tried to hire them to fix my standing seem roof. They told me that they didn't have the correct tools to do it. They said they would call back after checking if they could find some other way to do it. No call back. I added a star because it's hilarious that a roofing company doesn't have the tools to fix my roof.

  My experience with sales and continuing until the completion of my roof, we had great service. They were professional, courteous, and thorough with the entire process. I would strongly suggest Thoroughbred to anyone needing a roof.

  Thank you Thoroughbred for the great job replacing our shingles. Jeremy,Tyler,and the whole crew were very polite and professional.   Thoroughbred Construction group was very professional and helpful in getting a warranty issue resolved with GAF, due to a poor job completed by another roofing company that had gone out of business. I will highly recommend this company to anyone who needs a roof completed the right way!

  I recently had a new roof installed on my house and garage by Thoroughbred Construction Group. The roof was completely installed in one day and it looks terrific. Jeremy Blagg was my point of contact and he walked me through each step of the process. He was very knowledgeable, available, and transparent with all aspects of the project and he also worked directly with my insurance company handling all requests from them. Thoroughbred and Jeremy are top notch and I would definitely recommend them!
