Amazing! Brady spoke to me at great length about a complicated roof leak that was very tricky to diagnose. I easily could have spent many thousands of dollars on a "solution" that would not work. In fact, I have spoken to many others about this leak and have gotten nowhere. After one conversation with Brady, I feel like I understand the path forward. If only we lived closer to his service area so we could hire him to fix the problem, but unfortunately we are too far away. In the end, he did not charge me anything. He obviously cares greatly about his trade, and is a wealth of knowledge. A real find!

Thank you, Emi, it was my pleasure. You showed up to the conversation prepared with insightful questions and curiosity. The “tricky” ones do tend to be the most interesting!

I learned about The Beam Guy while searching for information in regards to a rotten cantilevered beam in a deck. I sent him a question via email asking if nhe would help somebody out in a different state with advice. He responded with “send me some pictures and all see if I can.” We messaged between us and then set up a phone call time. His help and encouragement was perfect to solve the issues and give me confidence in being able to understand and accomplish the repairs. Thank you Brady. Also, I always want to respect and appreciate those that help me so freely by compensating them in a way can benefit the most, so we agreed on what that would be. Thank you Brady for having a helpful spirit it is a great example of how we all should be.

We own a Streng home with large overhang roof beams near the American River. We had Brady come and restore them after discovering severe dry rot decay. 10 years later, he did our neighbor's home too. You can't tell the difference between …

Brady Newman, the Beam Guy is phenomenal! I have a 43 year old home with exposed redwood beams that were rotting on the ends. Brady did an amazing job of removing the decay, sealing it chemically with sealant and creating individual metal caps that he had constructed for 16 beams. Which are cemented in place and awesome looking. I am beyond pleased with his work. I would have been dreading replacing those beams had the rotting continued. Brady you’re the best!!
