  BUYER BEWARE - They are NOT LICENSED They are NOT CERTIFIED They are NOT a listed business with NY State Submitted an altered permit application to the municipality Forged signatures Put a lower-grade roof shingle on my home in the same color and didn't think they would get caught. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE. Most of the listed reviews are from employees or subs that have worked with a different company. I wouldn't give them 1 star if it wasn't required

  We actually knew from day one at your home we would be dealing with this. We sent a supervisor out to speak with you, you shared with us how you were so upset at the condition of your property when you started doing work that you were looking at ways to go after the seller in court. Red flag for sure. I hope no other contractors get swindled by you. We produced a roof at your home that was so far beyond repair with rotted decking and moss growing under the shingles and in the decking. Needless to say, we installed new decking in the worst spots, and completed the job. You did have a few legitimate concerns that the supervisor offered to have adjusted but you refused to allow that to happen. We see and understand fully now that this was a setup for you to take advantage of a small business and for you to get a free roof.

  Southtowns did a great job on my rental property in Amherst. Price was fair, the team was great. James was the most knowledgeable sales person we had out of the other two companies we got quotes from.

  I had an outstanding experience with Southtowns Roofing from start to finish. The team was professional, punctual, and extremely knowledgeable. They walked me through the entire process, explained my options clearly, and never made me feel pressured.

We see it all. If your roof looks like this underneath that is from years and years of water intrusion. It is very important that you address these issues early. If not, you can see how soft and easily damaged the roof decking can become underneath your shingles. This particular roof was so far gone that it required a miracle.
