Quick shoutout to the black pickup truck with SECI Construction marked on the side, driving recklessly and unsafely today going westbound on Rt 4. Weaving aggressively between lanes, flashing high beams while tailgating the car in front of him/her in the left lane, etc. Have some decency to drive safely, you deserve for the cops to pull you over and give you a big fat ticket with points on your license

SECI did a great job on our roof repair for less than half of what the original installer quoted. They found and repaired structural damage to the roof protrusion that others missed (it shook when pushed on). The work was meticulous. Steve also did a complementary roof inspection and found damage to our chimney (which we have confirmed with other companies).

Originally, we were quoted a very fair price for roofing tiles, tear off and replacement. As the project proceeded, it was discovered that our entire roof was in extremely poor condition, and needed to be completely replaced, including some of the rafters and damage to the underlying structure, including chimney rebuilding. This was all thoroughly documented, including many photos, which were shown to us, and the updated contract was explained very thoroughly to us before we approved the necessary work. The worker was performed very expertly and efficiently, with the Crew Paying precise attention to the smallest detail, and in some cases going over and above the basic requirements of the contract. The crew was extremely polite and friendly, and spent several extremely long days, completing the project and did an absolutely brilliant job, including cleanup. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering this type of work.

We had our roof replaced today. The supervisor, Remi, was here 45 minutes before the rest of the crew got here, which was amazing. He kept us informed throughout the entire process. He and his team were awesome. When they left, it was like they were never here, except for the new roof. Every drop was cleaned up!! Highly recommend!!

We had an emergency situation when our roof was being replaced—the condition turned out to be much worse than expected, with rotten rafters and wood that all needed to be replaced. With rain expected the very next day, the company immediately took control and handled the situation without hesitation. In a time where many contractors don’t show up or don’t follow through on what they promise, this company was the complete opposite. They showed up when they said they would and got the job done right. One of the owners, Achilles, personally came to explain everything clearly to me and my husband. He made promises—and more importantly, he delivered on every single one. I have honestly never seen such a fast and professional response from any contractor. Achilles is a wonderful person, and his leadership truly showed during this stressful situation. The entire crew worked incredibly hard and were always respectful and professional. What impressed me the most was how they handled the emergency. On the very first day, they made sure our home was secure and safe, which gave us real peace of mind. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable, honest, and responsive roofing professionals.

Full roof replacement. This company is thorough and clean after themselves. Due to all of the hammering, we had a couple of nails popping through our ceiling. They were repaired and repainted immediately.

Although I’ve already written a superb review of SECI, I think a follow up is in order, having lived with the roof they rebuilt in the summer of 2024. We have an antique house, with an 18th century foundation that was rebuilt in 1880, and …

Catching roof leaks can save you from major structural damage and expensive repairs. Warning signs like water stains on your ceilings, peeling paint, moldy smells, loose granules in your gutters, or rusted metal seals all signal water intrusion. Seeing damp insulation or daylight poking through your attic boards means water is already getting in.
