  Called their emergency line as I have a bad leak coming from the roof through to the living room, was assured someone was going to be in contact with me ASAP...3 days later and 3 follow up calls later still no contact from the contractor...DO BETTER.

  This company has been doing work close to where I live for the past couple of days. I walk past their job site twice a day commuting to and from work. Each time I have walked by the workers have yelled highly disrespectful , disgusting and sexualized comments at me while whistling, jumping, and waving in my direction. It is not just me, it is every woman I have seen walk past them who is by herself. When I called the company the person on the other end was not responsive at all, making me believe this is something they have heard complaints about in the past. I would not recommend hiring this company unless you want to subject women in your area to this same level of disrespect and discomfort. It is 2025, basic respect for women should be simple, but apparently not for Rydel Roofing.

  Rydel replaced all of the rotting pine trim with PVC trim. They did a great job and the house looks fantastic now. We are impressed with their professional work and commitment to ensuring we were fully satisfied.

  Crew were respectful of us, our property and our neighbours. Work was completed on time, great communication during its progression and even a great clean up. Great experience. Highly recommend.

  Awesome service and product. Had our roof redone and they knocked it out of the park. Informative meetings before and after the job to give us the best options for our home and to show us every step of the job to completion. Clean, safe, and quality job.

  This was our third new roof in 27 years along with several ceiling repairs. Kent immediately identified the issue and Mike led the repairs which were needed but overlooked by the previous two roofers. The service and communication were impeccable and great care was taken to ensure nothing was damaged and the area was cleaned. Kent even helped us in getting our ceiling repaired. They were worth every penny!!! You can see by the pictures the mess of tar in an attempt to cover up the issue when what was needed was proper metal flashing and a roofer who actually gave a hoot about the quality of their work. Well done to the crew at Rydel!!

  Our experience with Rydel was amazing! Respectful crew awesome service. They exceeded our expectations! 20 year warranty too. We have two dogs and they made sure we were able to let them out and was safe to do so. Clean up was great no nails around and checked the neighbour's property as well. We highly recommend Rydel!!

  Rydel Roofing and Siding and their team who recently replaced the siding on my house were great! They kept in good communication with us throughout the entire process, showed up for meetings on time and made the entire process so easy for us. Went out of their way to ensure we had the products and colours we wanted, even meeting with us at supply warehouses to ensure our satisfaction. Kyle did a walk through with us before and after construction so we both knew exactly what was required and what we were getting. So happy with the project that we have also booked them in to do our roof next spring! Quality from start to finish!!! The siding side of the business just replaced my roof. I could not say enough positive things about the work done. The crew was efficient and very accommodating. The site around my house was also spotless when they left! Mike and Ethan were very responsive to phone calls and texts and I knew what to expect throughout the entire process. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to replace shingles or siding!!

  If You Want Quality, Reliability, Professionalism a Beautiful Roof and the Best Warranty in the Business, Hire Rydel Roofing. :-) To be clear, I am no relative or friend of anyone at Rydel Roofing. This is my honest, objective review of a company that has performed a job I've been trying to get a competent roofing company to address for about 4 years. After repeated estimates, no call-backs and no-shows from various roofers and roofing companies in and around St. John's and Holyrood (some insured and some not insured) I decided to place my new roof install in the hands of Rydel Roofing - here's my experience. Unprecedented Communication: They took my call immediately and my quote was ready within days. I never had to wait to communicate with anyone at Rydel. *THEY ANSWER THEIR PHONES CONSISTENTLY* and provide answers immediately. Any answers to questions that required research were provided within minutes or by the end of the day. A Great Well Coordinated Team Effort: From the quote and product selection phase with Ethan' to scheduling of the material drop/job logistics with Reilly' to quality control of the shingle job itself and the subsequent clean up with Mike, the Rydel professionals were on time, on point, mature and sober. Excellence and Efficiency: The team arrived to work on my 18,00 sq. ft. roof at 7am, they tore off 2 layers of shingles and 'were cleaned up (very well cleaned up!) and on the road at 4:30pm.. The work was impressive. I was shown photos of various stages of the application of the materials that we agreed would be applied to my roof. The Final Analysis: If you're tired of playing phone tag with companies that give you the run-around and aren't transparent about their insurance and workman's comp. credentials, and if you want the work done right so you don't have to look over your shoulder, and if you want to sleep well at night knowing you had the best roofing installers do the work, hire Rydel.
