This company will sign a contract with you and not fulfill it, while still keeping your down-payment money. I had a tornado come through my block, roof and siding needs replaced. Signed a contract that said I pay $6500 initial and they start work on a certain date. A month after that date and now I have to pay in full before work starts when the contract says it doesn't get paid until after? So they can do a crap job and still get paid? BS company. Do not trust them.

Jessica, since you chose to make this public, there are some important facts missing from your review: your father was the Rooftop Designs salesperson who sold you this project, and when the final measurements came back and the job was properly reviewed, we discovered that he had significantly underpriced the project and sold it essentially at our cost; despite that mistake, we were still willing to honor the price he gave you, but after his employment with Rooftop Designs ended we were no longer comfortable installing an already underpriced project while leaving a substantial balance outstanding until after completion, especially given concerns referenced in your own communications regarding your father’s reputation and other information available to us, so we gave you a simple option pay the remaining balance before installation and we would honor the underpriced contract and complete the project you declined; you have since emphasized that you have your “own money” and should be viewed financially independent of your father, which is fair, but if the funds were available and you wanted Rooftop Designs to complete the project at the price your father mistakenly sold it for, you had the opportunity to do exactly that; instead, your review suggests that paying upfront would allow us to do a “crap job and still get paid,” but Rooftop Designs never performed any work on your home, so there is no workmanship to review, and if you genuinely believed we could not be trusted to perform quality work, it is difficult to understand why you were still asking us to perform the project; perhaps the most revealing part of this entire situation came before this review appeared, when you told our team, “You’re going to lose business. I am a Google Local Guide. My reviews go to the top,” and while we are glad you take your Google Local Guide status seriously, we can assure you that it does not determine how we run our company, because being a Local Guide does not make one person’s

Update. So, the roof has continued to leak. We're replacing the drywall and guess what we found - a giant hole. I specifically asked for your company to check this area for a hole since this is where the leak was. You said there was nothing there. Instead of replacing the wood, you covered up the hole with a piece of cardboard. Totally unacceptable. Now what am I supposed to do? I shouldn't have to pay to fix something that you covered up. Had my roof replaced in May 2022, 4 months later it started leaking. The regional manager will not return our phone calls and refuses to fix the leak. Their warranty is a sham. Horrible communication. I am so mad that I wasted $20k on a new roof that now leaks.

I would not recommend Rooftop Design to anyone. Came home saw my Satellite dish hanging from my Brand new gutter Which they said they would reinstall had to pay $175 to have dish come out to reinstall it . And then when he was installing the dish the installer sent me pictures of our tripod that they didn’t screw back into the roof. Debris behind all my new facial from when they tore off the roof It put ripples throughout the facial that had to be tore back off. So I talked to a manager, told him that I’m not paying him the rest of the money that we owed Which we bumped heads pretty badly! And then we are called about two months later Stating that we owe them money because there was an extra layers of shingles on the roof when they tore it off! When on the contract stated there were only two layers so I also refused to pay that. Arguing with the manager, and he finally admitted that that was their fault! So then, the roof not even being two years old had seven nail pops. Call them again and a manager told me that they would not come out and fix it because I owed him money that I told him I refuse to pay because of all the issues we had So he told me that he was going to void the warranty if I don’t pay the money Which I told him that’s fine because I would not want them to ever step foot on my roof again cause I was so disgusted With the quality of work they did and I will have another roofer to come out to repair it . So then, after that conversation a little while later, we had a bad rain storm and I had water pouring into my kitchen, so I had to hire a roofer went on a roof to see what was going on and they did not overlap the shingles by the vent, there was an open area where the water was pouring in. So I Showed pictures that I took of all the issues to the roofer that came out and fix that and the nail pops and his words to me were that’s unacceptable and it’s not very professional on their Part voiding the warranty and he does not blame me for not paying the

This company sucks! Charged me $13,000, I thought they were a good company! Supposed to be a 50yr warranty, but that is not true. We even signed a contract! I needed then to come back because the shingles were breaking, as they left them hanging 1/2 way over the gutters. My husband can't even get his hand in gutter to clean! We were blown off for over 3 months. Finally got the contractor's here that put roof on. After another 2 months of repeated calls and pictures still nothing. I was then told that Roof Top Design is no longer in business per Steve because him and his brother got into a argument and they went their own ways!!! But wait for it..... company changed name to Odesey and its the same owner! WARNING - Do not use this company. I then sent texts to "owner" and advised him that I will contact a lawyer, but they stopped communicating with me! Odesey is a huge scam as well. Guess thats a good way to not be reliable for the shitty work done that cost $13,000!

Horrible company. Would not recommend. They put new windows and front door. The screens on some of my windows is loose and they refuse to fix it. They also removed my storm and would not replace it. I ended up paying $700 for a door and to pay someone to install it. It was November and cold outside. I spoke to the owner and he is condescending. I am going to sue them

Not a good experience. At first everything seemed ok. They rebooted our home just this past winter. We'll, in the spring ,AFTER,the snow was melted. We noticed buckling ,and unsealed shingles . So , we called for an inspection, to see what was causing this irregular look. Because ,if you look at the roof/shingles, they didn't lay flat.FYI even the neighbors noticed. We ended up kind of getting the run around ,as far as what was actually causing this VISUAL issue.. They said it was a lack of ventilation. Another company gave us their opinion. And yet a 3rd company that deals with insulation and ventilation issues told us .There is NO ventilation issues. We've called back several times times now with NO call back . The roof is less than 8 months old . And we were charged over 20,000 fot this WORKMANSHIP????. We were even told the owner would be in contact .lol Must have been a joke. We are definitely NOT HAPPY, in thee slightest.

The installers were quick, courteous, and efficient. The windows look great & are easy to open. My only issue was the fact that didn't show me how to take them out for cleaning & put them back in.

Our story is that we had a roof that had 2 leaks, hail damage and gutters that did not move water away from the house. In one case, water flowed over the gutter, ran down the sliding and came into the dining room and ruined the wall board and insulation. In another event we had ceiling damage in our master bedroom and our garage roof. We got three quotes, but Mark from Rooftop Designs evaluated our roof and gutter problems, gave us accurate insight for what was causing those problems, spent an hour with us showing us materials and why we would benefit. He was the one sales rep that took the time and answered every one of our questions – He also noticed many issues the other roofers did not - Those sales reps were brief, vague on specifics, didn’t spend more than 15 minutes with me and didn’t follow up. Scheduling for the roofing and new gutters went very smoothly – so did the installation. What I can say is that everyone was professional, on time and did an excellent job. There were no problems. Everything was done right the first time. It’s been a month since we got our new roof and gutters. All water problems are gone. The house looks excellent, and we are very happy with the results. I would recommend this company to any of my friends, relatives, and business colleagues – Rooftop Designs is that good. In Illinois, the cost of hiring someone to work on any part of a home is high – contractors usually want to charge too much for too little work and too little quality. Rooftop Designs fees were reasonable, and the work was very high quality. I have no buyer’s remorse for anything they did on our home. I have included a few photos to give readers more information.

I recently had my roof replaced by Rooftop Designs. Before choosing which contractor I was going to use, I got a total of 3 quotes. I chose Rooftop because they use high quality shingles Certain Teed, which I happened to you at a previous house and was very happy of the look and quality. The work started pretty quickly after finalizing shingle selection. The crew was timely and very professional They kept landscaping covered to avoid damage and cleaned up on each day. The job took two days and I was very happy with the final results. Within less than an hour after the installers left, I got multiple compliments from nearby neighbors. I would highly recommend them to neighbors, fried and family. They did a great job!
